Shoeless Joe baseball gloves give a player the quality, feel, and style of the gloves worn by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models worn in the first half of the century in the Golden Age Series or today`s models in the Professional Model Series. The Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old-time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking-in process that leaves the glove with a beaten-up and game-worn look and feel of a broken-in glove. Thus, each glove is unstructured, giving it its own unique feature. Players can choose to play with an old-time or modern-day web without having to change to another model. A great play is lived only once, but your glove, you`ll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform, our gloves are not for you.

Great concept and look but leather failed easily Andrew Parent

Pros: - Great look - ready to go with minimal break in - I got this glove to play catch with my little leaguer and wanted a quality glove with little break in time. It looks good and felt great upon arrival.

Cons: After a couple months of minimal use (no game or intense practice use, just catch), the leather between where the thumb holster laces go through gave out. The knot can now come right through the glove. I really loved the concept of a mid priced, great looking glove that was ready to use. If I were buying gloves for competitive players, I’d definitely look somewhere else. And really at this price, for more recreational use, I’d look towards lower end products from regular named brand glove makers.

11.75” H web Shoeless Joe Darrin Haulcomb Coach

Pros: I ordered this glove for my 9 year olds first year in kid pitch. Took it to Dicks sporting goods, got it steamed and within two weeks of practices he had no problem using this glove. He loves it and I cannot wait to see him use it in the tournament this weekend!

Cons: Although the leather was very soft from the beginning, it still took some breaking in to get it where it needed to be.

Pros: I play on a men's 38+ league and this glove is perfect for infield. I play SS and glove works fine. Not a large pocket so easy to transition ball to your throwing hand. Comes very broken in, so little break in time is required to your specs. Perfect for an adult player.

Hello, i would like to get a nice glove for my middle son who plays second base maybe 60% of the time and outfield 40% of the time. He has a 12” glove now but it’s not great even after me breaking it in for him. Would the 11.75” work? And how how H webbing vs modified trap? He is 10 years old. Thanks! Derek
Yes, an 11.75" glove should work. It will suit 2B play better than outfield, but you can't really get a glove that is great for both. As for the webbing, that is mostly personal preference and there isn't a performance different either way really. H-web is more common for infield, modified trap more common for outfield.

The biggest difference between the Shoeless Joe 11.75" Baseball Glove: 1175HW and the professional series will be that the professional series uses steer hide and pro select leather that will make it more durable.

My son is about to turn 12 and needs an upgrade in his glove. These were highly recommended. He loves to play everywhere but 1B. He's small for his size, but hoping this glove would last him for 12u through 14u. Sam
The Shoeless Joe 11.75" Baseball Glove: 1175HW is an adult fitting glove for an infielder. For someone that is 12U-14U, it may fit too big on their hand.
