Boss
Pros: I have had this glove for 4 years now. It is a very versatile glove that is great for anywhere in the infield except first or catcher. Very durable.
Cons: Silver stamping wears off easily
Dan w
Pros: Nice look and leather. The pro202DCC has better ball feel and can be used for outfield as well. The PRONPDC3 11.25 inch model is a great glove as well. The Wilson A2000 1796, ASO, and Brian Wilson models are better than this one for ball feel and the ball sticking in to the mitt.
Cons: Ok ball feel
reese puff
Pros: great glove when worked in, deep pocket for quick hands, good for middle infeild
Cons: hurts if you catch in palm but still amazing glove
Dbeck
Pros: High quality leather, breaks in nicely, retains shape very well.
Cons: none

Pros: Great craftsmanship, some reviewers said it as soft but it came very stiff for me so i can mold it to my liking. Very comfortable inside, great shape, great look. Some reviewers said the padding was too thin and i was afraid of this but the padding is good for infield. Very nice glove, the best I ever owned.
Cons: No cons.
IDK
Pros: Great glove! I've had it for 2 years and have had no problems. Amazing to use anywhere in the field!
Cons: None. Except it takes a while to break in.

Pros: I was able to use the glove in a practice game after only a week of break in time, and now, after a year, it's by far the best glove I've ever owned. The shallow pocket gives it a really quick action from glove to throwing hand, and with a little oil every month, the leather is staying really soft and flexible. Best glove I've ever owned.
Cons: Could use a little more padding in the palm, but not too much, wouldn't want to jeopardize the inherent flexibility of the glove.
jeter
Pros: i have had this glove for a year now and its the best glove i have ever had so far
Cons: none at all
GaryGlover
Pros: Really well built glove. Very durable, will last a LONG time.
Cons: Ridiculously hard to break in. Not all that comfortable, but not unbearable.
Antdog
Pros: 5 years ago it only cost $149 or $159. It's Better than a Nike Glove.
Cons: Worst a $100 plus glove I ever bought. I really regret buying a heavy, very painful when caughy wrong "Heart of the Hide." Surely not worth $200. An inferior product to the gloves listted below at or above the same price poin as this model: Akadema Precision,Louisville Slugger Flare Series, Vinci Pro Limited, Reebok VR6000 $139 or an Akadema Professional Series.

the ran man
Pros: everything:i have had this for 2 years now, and it has only shown small signs of tear! Tery durable, and a nice, deep pocket can be formed with it
Cons: it needs a palm pad; if you catch it in the palm, it will hurt.
jeterfan123
Pros: this glove works great. i dont know why people say it takes forever to break in becasue i got it last night and its already half way there. It has a great feel and lots of fielding room. you can get the ball out very quickly. i recomend it for shortstop and second base. The palm padding is not as thin as people are saying. Its good thin but not to thin because its comes out of the glove quicker to make the play. so overall, great glove.
Cons: nothing. great glove all-around.
big boy
Pros: this glove is the best glove i have ever had. It fields the ball really clean the basket web is great for middle infield and pitching
Cons:

Cons: this glove takes centuries to break in and when not caught right it hurts like crazy an okay glove if your not looking at a long term glove mizzuno pro 60mpd way better
shinjo
Pros: another top notch heart of the hide. jeter has worn the same model of glove throughout his entire career which has to say something.
Cons: a bit too short for third base. palm padding is very thin
Ben
Pros: Great glove, great for middle infield like ss, 2nd base and 3rd base. And my all-time favorite major league player wears it DEREK JETER!!
Cons: Its so good and fields so awesome its like cheating, better than the Wilson A2000 by a long shot.

Nate
Pros: This glove is great. I've had it since fall of last year and it is really starting to get the right feel. I've used this glove for 3rd base, SS, and 2nd base. This is the perfect utility glove.
Cons: Sometimes it will get you if a hard hit ball gets you in the palm, I wear a batting glove under it though and it seems to help.

About the Brand

Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
