Pros: High quality leather. the glove was well sized for my 10 year old. He is average height and size. He was able to use the glove after the proper prep care after 48 hours. Would purchase again. His buddy purchased the same glove with "I" Trap.

My son has a Vinci 11.5" glove that says it is for 8-9 year old. What age is best for this glove? JD

This Nokona X2 Elite 11.25" Youth Baseball Glove (X2-200M) is a youth mitt and will be fine for an 8-9 year old. This glove could be used for a player up to 12 years old. For a player approaching high school this glove may be a little bit tight.

The Nokona X2 Elite 11.25" Youth Baseball Glove (X2-200M) and the Nokona Alpha Select Series Baseball Glove (S-200 Youth) are going to be very similar in terms of the web, open back design and fit for a youth player. The main difference between the two gloves is the leather used. Both leathers are very high quality but the Nokona X2 Elite features Kangaroo leather which is extremely durable yet lightweight.

If cared for properly, the higher quality leather on this X2 Elite will allow the glove to have longer potential durability than the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft.

I am looking for the Nokona X-2 for my 11 year old grandson. He is an advanced travel player and I don't want to spend 250-300. He is small for his age. He is 4'8" and weighs 70 lbs. He plays mostly CF and throws left. Is this glove going to last him a few years or do I buy an adult glove? Larry

Judging by his size he should still be able to use a youth glove for another year or two. We do have a 100 day return policy on all our gloves, so if you buy a Youth model and it turns out to be too small for his hand, you can send it back to us for a full refund within 100 days of the purchase date.

The S-200 would probably be a better choice considering he is more of a utility player. The Nokona X2 Elite 11.25" Youth Baseball Glove: X2-200M is a great glove as well, but is really best suited for infield only.

My 9 yr old son resorted to a synthetic glove because he just can't squeeze/close the 11" Rawlings SPYPT1-2GB glove I got him. Is this glove significantly better in this regard? I'm also looking to go to 11.25". Tim Swanson
