Yes. This glove has plenty of room and has an adjustable wrist strap. You shouldn't have a problem with it.

It comes down to the quality of the leather. Kangaroo leather is a high quality, lightweight, and durable leather.

The gloves in Nokona's Buckaroo Series will be lighter in weight than the Walnut Series. The Kangaroo leather has a tensile strength 2 to 3 times greater than traditional cowhide leather. Both will display similar durability, but the Walnut Series will be a little stiffer than the Buckaroo.

For a slow-pitch softball league, would this be the right size for 3B? My current glove is a wilson a2000 xlc (it's pretty old, but just starting to get floppy), but I played both OF & SS with that one. I tried the 12" on in a store, that was way too small, their next size up was the 13.5. Tony
Absolutely. A 13 inch glove is perfect for 3rd base in slow pitch softball in my opinion. Nokona's last a long time too.

Have you ever seen on this model, a "pp" emblem in the palm, just about 2 o'clock from the indian emblem? Does it stand for anything? Pro Player model....? jon
I've never seen a glove in Nokona's Classic Walnut Series with that "PP" on it. However, I'm pretty sure I know what it stands for. On some Nokona gloves (mostly their Bloodline Series) they use their patented Proprietary Prime leather. This is just a high quality leather used as the basis for some of their higher quality gloves. I wish I had a definite answer, but I think this may be it.

The nokona web site has a picture of this model glove (WS1300C) with a velcro strap and yet your web site has the glove shown with out an adjustable velcro wrist strap. So which one do you guys sell? The one with a velcro strap or the one pictured with a leather lace strap? Thanks and I will place my order as soon as this is made clear. Dan

The Nokona Walnut Softball Series: WS1300C and the Buckaroo black model are going to have very similar sized pockets. The hand stalls in the Nokona Walnut will be bigger than the Buckaroo glove.

Needing to purchase a ladies slow pitch softball glove. I Can't find anywhere to try on this glove. I'm concerned the hand will be too big because the description says "sized for a man's hand". The Nokona Walnut Softball Series: WS1300C might be a little too big for a womens hand. You might look at the Nokona Buckaroo Black Fastpitch Series: BF1300CBLK or the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1300C.

If you are an infielder, the 13.00" Nokona Walnut Softball Series: WS1300C would be a great choice. The 12.50" kangaroo glove is a fastpitch glove and designed for a female hand. Any type of leather can be used for a player with a large or small hand.

Is this glove okay for infield play is there enough bend in the glove with a DEEP pocket? I hate when the pocket is shallow and doesn't swallow the ball. Abe
The Nokona Walnut Softball Series: WS1300C will be very stiff and will require a break-in period. Once it is broken-in, it should have bend for an infielder.

Instead of the Nokona Walnut Softball Series: WS1300C, which is 13" in size. I would go with the smaller size of the Nokona Banana Tan Fastpitch Series: BTF-1200. An 11.50" is best recommended, but the 12" would be comfortable for her also.

My daughter has a small hand and is looking at the Nokona S2-1200. I question if it is a good fit because it says baseball. I see a softball glove that is similar in the X2-V1200H, which she doesn't like as much. But would it be a better fit? Staci R Osborn

I am reading the WS-1300 is 750g and cowhide leather. Is that weight correct? The Buckaroo X2-1300 is kangaroo leather and 770g. So it weighs more than the WS-1300. Is that correct? If the gloves are the same size and the kangaroo leather is supposedly lighter, why does it weigh more? Thanks. Jamo7
Nokona does mention that the Nokona Walnut 13" Slow Pitch Softball Glove: WS-1300 comes in around 740 g whereas the Nokona X2 Buckaroo 13" Slow Pitch Softball Glove: X2-1300 features a weight around 770 g.
