The 2015 Nokona Generation Series G-1175 is really meant for baseball. I would not recommend it for softball. The Nokona Generation Series: G-1175 and the whole Generation line of gloves is still being made by Nokona. At this time it does not appear that Nokona plans on discontinuing this series.

The Nokona Generation Series: G-1175 will require a break in period, but is typically fairly easy with Nokona gloves.
