Description

This season, Nokona is bringing its classic Buffalo Combo Series to the fastpitch softball field! Nokona uses premium quality, select American Range Bison from ranches in South Dakota to construct these gloves. Buffalo leather produces the best of both worlds, soft and sturdy. Buffalo leather is renowned for its flexibility and supple feel. The shape of the glove is key, so Nokona has combined Buffalo with their signature Classic Walnut Leather. Classic Walnut Leather results from an old world tanning process that produces a uniquely patterned leather with a character and feel all its own. The combination of these two leathers creates a robust glove with a relatively short break-in period. When looking for a top-of-the-line glove, the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series should be on the top of the list. For over 75 years, Nokona has been producing handmade ball gloves for the elite player right here in the U.S.A. in Nocona, Texas. Don't buy a new glove every year, get a Nokona and get a glove that will last far beyond your expectations. Nokona: America's Pastime. American Made! Free Shipping!

Pros: Great quality construction, so far break in is ok, not as tough as other Nokonas. She loves it not as heavy as Walnut model. Will last thru college.

Cons: Takes a while to break in....

Pros: It a nokona. Best glove made

Cons: This glove needs some series brake in time. Very stiff not game ready by any means. Working hard to get it ready so I can play games with it

Pros: I asked Nokona to make a version of this glove with straps rather than velcro and am very pleased with the results. It works extremely well as an outfield glove and for "bigball." The combination of leathers makes for a sturdy glove with a quick break-in time.

Cons: None.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1300C? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

How durable is it on the inside of the glove? My daughter goes through one glove a year. They always seem to wear out on the inside. Thank you! Steve
The Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series is made with the very high quality leather. It will be very durable, but might take some time to break-in.
Kara
I'm looking for this glove in a left hander. Do you have any or will you have any soon? Steve
The Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series is only manufactured in a right hand thrower.
Kara
being this is listed as a female glove does that imply that it is smaller? I have an older model (AMG650BFGCW) that is ready to be replaced. how does it compare to the one I have? Thanks Kahoona
The Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1300C is a female fastpitch softball glove that is made with a smaller hand opening and more narrow finger stalls to better fit a female's hand. The glove you have is a baseball model that will have a larger hand opening and more roomy finger stalls.
Tyler
Is this glove the same size as the AMG 650KCW? I am looking for a high quality softball patterned glove. Thanks. Ronnie
Yes, both the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1300C glove and the Nokona Buckaroo Series: BS1300C (AMG650KCW) glove will both be 13" in size. Both will have Basket Webs. Both gloves are high quality softball patterns.

My daughter is a High School Pitcher and plays outfield when not pitching. Tell me the differences and Pros/Cons for the Buffalo Combo vs the Buckaroo Black? And which length do you recommend, and why? Kyle
The Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series will be a little easier to break-in. However, they are both know to have the same durability. For a player who pitches and playes outfield, a glove between 12.75" and 13" is most common.

Looking to replace my daughter's current glove. She's 11, 4'10" and about 110 lbs. Plays outfield, 2nd, and pitches. I currently use a Shoeless Joe glove, which is superb. For her considering 12-13 inch gloves by Shoeless Jane, the Nokona Buckaroo Black, Nokona Buffalo Combo, and Akadema. Or do you recommend choosing from beyond this list. A little nervous about 13 inch size (I use a 12). I would prefer something lighter and quicker, if sturdy enough. BRmountaineer
We suggest a 12" glove for your daughter. I think that the 13" will be too big for her. In the 12", I think that the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series is a great choice.

Is this one of the Nokona's that run smaller? How does it compare to the Nokona Buckaroo Fastpitch Series? zack
The Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1300C will run smaller than 13.00". The Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1300C uses stiffer leather than the Nokona Buckaroo Black Fastpitch Series: BF1300CBLK.
Kara
My daughter is tall (5'10", 14 years old), and wears XL women's batting gloves, or men's, depending on the brand. She plays OF and some 1B (not sure where she will end up.) Will a 12.5" fit her hand, and will a 13" be too large for 1B? She is currently using an OF glove, which is not great for 1B. I want to get a glove that will work anywhere for her. bighitter'smom
Comparing a 12.5" to a 13" size will have the same size finger stalls and opening. I think the 13" Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch (BCF1300C) will be too big. A Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1250C a 12.5" will be good for your daughter.
Zach
I'm a male not with big hands but not with small hands. I play slow pitch softball and play second base and outfield. Is this glove ideal? What do you think about the finger stall? mano
Given that the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series (BCF1300C) is designed for fastpitch play, it will have smaller finger stalls and wrist opening than what a typical glove built for a man to use would have. If you have smaller hands, you may be able to use it but it would be too small for most adult males.
