This softball glove is part of the Nokona Buckaroo Series. Nokona's Kangaroo leather is a love affair for players who desire a lightweight, highly supple leather that is strong for its weight. It is put in combination with cowhide. This combination has made this the premium choice of leathers that has caught on with both baseball and softball players alike. The lightweight feel is great for either the infielders or the outfielders. The finger and thumb loops inside provide full control for the fielder. This glove comes in a 13.00-inch model and features a closed back. A Velcro strap is included to easily secure the glove to your hand. It also has a deep, full, weave closed web. This series is actually not made in a 14 inch model. The AMG700KCW (which is currently out of stock) would be your closest option at 13.5 inches.

my son is 13 he has an 11.5 Rawlings. However this glove is too small to play the outfield. I'm thinking about a Nokona Buckeroo 13". Do you think this is to much glove for him? phil
I would recommend a smaller glove for an outfielder. Most infielders use 11.00-11.50 inch gloves. Most outfielders use 12.00-12.50 inch gloves.

I play all over the field in softball (mostly outfield) and I use a 13 inch glove. Two of my teammates play strictly infield, one uses a 13 inch glove, the other a 12.5 inch model. If I were playing infield only, I would go with a 12.75 or 13 inch model (in my opinion I think a 12.5 inch glove is a bit too small).

My mother has a couple of horses and so uses a lot of leather treatment products for her riding gear. Can i use the same products for this glove? Rig
The treatment products for riding gear should not be used on Nokona gloves, it can dry out the glove.

My son 16 year old son is 6'3", about 210 lbs. and wears an XL to XXL batting glove so he has big hands. He is a pitcher and I was wondering if this 13 inch glove would be suitable as a pitcher/infield glove. NatJoe
with him being so big, and Nokona tends to run just a little small, this glove might work for him. Keep in mind our 100 day guarantee if it doesn't suit his needs.

The BS1300C is a baseball model. The Nokona Buckaroo Black Softball Series: BS1300CBLK has a softball pattern and would be better suited for fastpitch softball.

I just made the transition to adult softball. i wear a mens L batting glove and was wondering as far as hand size which nokona glove would be better the buckaroo or buckaroo black? Also botth are listed as softball gloves on nokona's site but which mit has a deeper pocket? Will
Both the Buckaroo and Buckaroo Black Series have the exact same sizing in terms of finger stalls and wrist opening.

Nokona gloves are high quality, handmade products. They do tend to run about .25" smaller than advertised.

I have huge hands and need a big glove. I had to return a Shoeless Joe 12.5 model. I have had success with an A2000 12.5 and also have a 35 year old Nokona which is plenty big. Any thoughts? Michael
The Nokona Buckaroo Series will run small and fit more like a 12.50" glove. We recommend a 13.00" to a 13.50" glove.

The Nokona Buckaroo Series (BS1300C) (AMG650KCW) features Kangaroo Leather on the back of the glove's shell which also carries a premium price. The substitution of the Kangaroo Leather for the Walnut Leather cuts out extra weight. The (WS1300C) is constructed completely from the Walnut HHH Leather.
