Pros: great glove, good quality, nice feel, perfect for younger kids best glove I've ever owned

Cons: its too small for you to use very long. the 11.50 is a better choice if you plan on using it a while

left handed thrower means just that, you have no black shadow for right handers ? gregory
Yes, you are correct. We do not have this glove in a right handed thrower. However, that is not to say that we will not get them in sometime soon. I would check our site perodically. If it shows up on our site, we have it in stock.

what do you think about this glove for an 11 year old. He plays first base and pitches, been playing for 5 years, travel ball etc Roger
I think this would be a quality glove for your son. If he's playing first base as well, you may even want to consider moving up to an 11.5 or 11.75 inch glove
Jeff
do you have this in right hand? ms
We do not have this glove in a right hand throw. We only show what we have in stock on our website. We will not be getting anymore right hand throwers in stock because this is a closeout glove.
Brett
Would this glove be good for my 11 yr old daughter, plays 2nd and short, fastpitch softball or do you think it would be too heavy? Is the hand/wrist area built for an adult? Allen
I would be looking for a fast pitch glove. This is a baseball glove. Most baseball gloves are going to have bigger hand and finger stalls. Also, this glove won"t have a deep pocket to be able to catch a softball, it is made for a baseball.
Brett
left handed thrower means people who throw with their left hand, right? josh
Yes, left handed thrower means that the person will throw will there left hand and catch with their right hand.
Brett
is this a good glove for an 8 year old who plays shortstop, year round baseball? jbull
This is going to be a very quality glove. Being that it is more quality the break in period might be a little longer than you would see with some other gloves.

Hi Guys, Buying a better quality glove for my son. He is currently 8 and this glove will be for next year, but I want to get it now so we will have lots of time to break it in over the summer. My question is would you recommend this glove or the Akadema Prodigy Series: ATM92 glove? He plays outfield. Right now he is using the Mizuno Prospect glove, so either glove will be a big upgrade for him! I just want to make sure the glove will fit him good and last for the whole season or maybe 2. If there is another glove you would recommend, please let me know. Thanks! Gary
Both the gloves your are looking at would be excellent options for your 8 year old. In terms of quality, both are on par with each other and should last well over one or two seasons. There is a slight difference in size. The Nokona is a 11.25 inch model and the Akadema is 11.5. Nokonas often run a tad bit smaller than advertised, so it may actually fit a little smaller than 11.25 inches. The Akadema may provide him with a little more room to grow into over the next few seasons. I think either one would be an excellent option though.

Yes, It would be a good glove for a eight year old, but we are sold out and it is going to be discontinued.
