Versatility is the name of your game in the field and this Nokona Alpha 12-inch fastpitch softball glove is up to the task. Nokona has been making professional-grade baseball gloves since 1934 and this Alpha series glove is a chip off the old block. Like all Nokona gloves, this model is individually crafted from cutting to stitching to embroidery at the brand's production facility in Nocona, Texas. This glove features an attractive colorway with a natural palm side and brown upper side with rich maroon piping along the cuff and fingers. At 12 inches, this glove is an ideal choice for adults and bigger youth athletes who can use some extra pocket space for those hard-hit drives.
Glove Benefits
Nokona has completely revamped its Alpha series with improved leather and a new design. Although break-in will still be required, this glove has been specifically engineered for a softer, more supple feel and reduced break-in time. The upper portion of the glove is crafted with Nokona's proprietary SuperSoft leather ensuring all-day comfort with striking good looks. The palm side is made with the brand's new AmericanKip leather, which is made from American steerhide that is tanned to look, feel and perform like kip leather imported from Europe or Japan. The sum total is a glove that's ready to hit the field with you right out of the box and made to take a beating.
Warranty
Nokona extends a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on all their gloves. If you buy a Nokona from JustGloves and experience an issue that may have come from defective workmanship or material, be sure and let the JustGloves Glove Experts know. The Glove Experts are trained in product and warranty knowledge. They will be happy to assist with providing directions for a warranty return to Nokona.

My daughter is 11, 4’11” with small hands, and is a real good travel/select-level infielder who also plays some outfield as well. She has been using an entry-level Rawlings 12” glove that simply isn’t cutting it anymore. I want to get her a Nokona glove due to the quality and being USA-made. I have noticed that Nokona’a sizing tends to run bigger than Rawlings (returned a Nokona 12.5” that was simply HUGE on her hand and at least 1.5-2” longer than her 12” Rawlings). So... question is, is this glove the right choice for her size or is there another Nokona (or other brand) that you would recommend? Price is not a concern for quality. Dave Heffner
I was trying to understand the differences in feel. This Nokona is essentially "no break-in needed" but "the feel is stiff" compared to the Rawlings HOH "needs breaking in" and "the feel is soft." Does the feel mean the flexibility of the leather? Heidi
