Pros: These gloves are absolutely great. Ready to use out of the box minimal shaping and break in required.
Cons: Our first won got way to soft. My son had a habit of smashing the top down to open it up, rather than peel the edges out. With how soft the glove starts this led to it wearing down quick. Our fault, did not hesitate to buy a new one and correct how he uses it.

Pros: Bought for my 12 yr old outfielder/pitcher. Little break in time required. Good padding, deep pocket, closes easily and envelopes ball well. Fits kids smaller hands and offers good glove control.
Cons:

My son is 10 and has played baseball for about 4 years. He plays in a fairly casual youth league. Would this be a good glove or would it be a little big? He is about average height or a little smaller and a slightly larger build. Does the glove close easy, he tends to drop the ball out of his glove on occasion. Thanks J A R
My sun is an 11 year old utility player and i was looking at the 11 1/2 ATM92-12 and liked it but the 11 1/2 seem so small. Would this glove be a better fit and would he be able to play with either glove for a couple years or should i look at a 12inch glove. THANKS!! Joey
Hello, I have a 6 yr old going to be 7, he is very good at catching and has a 10 inch glove right now that is a little to small for him now. He is playing 3rd base mainly but moves throughout the infield. I am looking at this mizzuno youth glove. Can you tell me if this would be your suggestion or what would you suggest. He is 54 inches tall if that helps. Sonny
I have a 9 yr. old daughter. Would this glove be ok for softball? What material is the glove made of? Which glove would be quickest to break in? Thanks Steve
What kind of leather is this glove made of? Also, are the laces leather? Marty
How does this glove compare to the Mizuno Prospect GPT 1175 youth baseball glove? That one was recommended to us but we are unable to find. Irish
My son is turning 11 this month, but is the size of a 9 year old. Which size would work best for him? I use the same version of this glove in adult size and love it's lightweight and grip on the ball. Jooshh77
I have a 11 yr old that has a 10.75" Mizuno that he can still use for infield, I am looking for an outfield glove for him and he is small for his age. I'm looking at this one and the wilson A1000? DP
I have a bigger hand but I am interested in this glove. Is there anyway I can get this glove in a larger size? 3bagballer
I accidentally bought the Mizuno GPM1201 and didn't know it was a softball mitt. To bad as it is lightweight, well padded and not too stiff. Which of the Mizuno gloves would be similar in like a 11.5 or 11.75? Thanks Mcgee
Is this a baseball glove? My 9 year old son is playing rep baseball next year and one of the other kids has this one and he wants one too. Carts
