Description

Capitalizing on 100 years of glove making experience and innovation, Mizuno has developed the worlds best ball glove: the Mizuno Pro Series, with cutting edge 4D Technology, and now for the first time also available in black. Mizuno extensively researched the dynamics of catching, using data from the best players in the game, and created position-specific ball gloves, delivering the ultimate in performance for each position. The 4D Technology is position specific reinforcements that allow greater grip strength and transfer of energy from your hand to the ball. The pressure points were determined by position, utilizing data from the best players in the world. These pressure points, coupled with the ultimate in feel and softness of Japanese tanned Deguchi leather, create the best feeling and most functional gloves possible. The Deguchi leather offers the softest feel and most durable leather available. Limited hide utilization ensures that only the best sections of each hide are used in production of each Mizuno Pro glove. Deguchi leather is much softer and more flexible than previous Mizuno Pro leathers yet has higher tensile strength enabling the best of both worlds. The Deguchi leather has a game ready feel with long lasting durability. Mizuno: Your passion is our obsession. Free Shipping.

Pros: It is very top quality leather. It feels very soft and does not feel too big. It has a short break in time as long as you play catch with it. You will not regret buying it.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: I came upon one of these gloves by mistake at a used store and I would definitely drop the cash for a new one if I were to lose it! Catches well in any part of the glove. Ice cream cones are not a problem and the palm is padded very well.

Cons: None that I can think of..

Pros: Outstanding glove. Highest quality leather. It's a ball grabber. I'm 56 years old, and I've been playing ball since I was a kid, and this is absolutely the best glove I've ever owned. You won't regret purchasing this glove.

Cons: The glove needs to be broken in, but some good glove oil and playing catch with a heavy ball will do that for you.

I play short stop and 3rd in competive softball. Would this glove be good? And how is it in weight? Also does it have a deep pocket? Thanks. berto
This is a good size glove based on your positions. It has a very deep pocket and will be a littler lighter in weight compared to other 12.75 inch models.

I am debating on whether i should buy the Rawlings Pro Preferred 125th Anniversary Series: PROS303-125, or this glove and I'd like to know, which one is better in your opinion? Frank
Both are very high quality gloves, and to be completely honest with you... it comes down to your personal preference (ie: color, webbing, etc). Both will be similar in terms of durability. I would say the GMP70BK will be a little easier to break in. Both hold their shape very well. Unfortunately, there are dozens of high end gloves on the market nowadays. This can make glove shopping difficult, but it's even more difficult to make a bad choice.
