This 34" catchers mitt does have a big circumference, but we think even some younger girls could use it due to the PowerLock Velcro Wrist Strap and V-Flex Notch that assists a player when closing the glove.
Enjoy the Parashock Palm Pad that will cut down on the extra sting if you get a ball right on the palm (which will happen at catcher). As mentioned earlier, you can squeeze this glove easily due to the V-Flex Notch near the heel of the glove. That V-Flex Notch ensures that even players who might lack some hand strength can close this glove with ease.
