Baseball mom

Pros: Easy to break in & great price! My son has used this glove for 2 years (age 12-14). Other catchers on his team preferred to use this glove rather than their own more expensive gloves! May upgrade to the professional model in this brand.

Cons: My son did complain the thumb pocket and loop are a little uncomfortable, but wearing a batting glove helped. After 2 years it's getting a little too floppy... But you will always trade easy break in for a little lower quality leather. I'd rather buy 5 of these gloves, than one very expensive glove.

Pros: Price was right for the job. I use it in the bullpen and in practice to warm up my pitchers.

Cons: The thumb hole was slightly unconfortable until I broke it in to fit my large hand.

Pros: The price is literally unbeatable unless you physically steal it from a store. The leather is super soft, and was ready for play after one good oiling. Glovesmith name gives instant credibility to the Catcher using it, as long as he doesn't COMPLETELY stink as a player. Those who don't know that there is such a vast difference in Glovesmith models will have no idea that this one was so cheap! Plus, every time I look down and see "Field Commander" in that vibrant yellow stitching across the back of the glove, it makes me feel like General freaking PATTON, and PUMPS ME UP!

Cons: The glove is made in China, and has a weird crease by the heel of the palm. It was fairly easy to remedy by stuffing two balls into it (baseballs), and wrapping it closed with a Rawlings elastic glove sleeve.

Pros: Very fast free shipping. I am a older adult buying a lefty catchers mitt for my son bull pens. The glove was almost broken in. There was no sting in the hand from his throws, good quality for the price.
