Synergy Fastpitch Series gloves have a game-ready feel that makes them incredibly easy to break-in. Employing Easton's Ideal Fit System, the Synergy Series uses a contoured index finger channel to combine the flexibility and comfort of an open back glove with the control of a closed back glove! This allows players to have the best of both worlds. This series also features Bio-Dri moisture management fabric that lines the finger stalls to keep the user's glove dry and light. Also inside, players will find a VRS Palm Pad that protects against stingers and disperses the impact of the ball. Best of all, these patterns are female specific. Pros: I play 14u fastpitch and it broke in quickly and my pitcher pitches 63+ and it has good padding

Pros: I love this glove. I use it to catch my daughter and my catcher and some of our opposing teams catchers used it in rec league this past year. Break in was moderately quick and the glove has maintained a nice pocket. Good value.

Cons: I have the old black and grey color which I think looks nicer.

I have the previous Synergy glove and i love the fit and feel on my hand does this glove have that same feel as the previous year? David B

Is this glove very heavy? It will be for a 10 year old 10u travel ball catcher. 64chevyc10

Being a catcher's mitt, it is heavier than a regular glove, due to the extra padding. But this particular glove is not super heavy. We do offer the 100 day guarantee if it does feel too heavy for her. You could look at this one also, it has a mesh backing on it for a lighter weight. I do not know much about catchers mitts and I catch pitchers ranging from 50 mph-60 mph. Would this be about right at 14U and does it have a hook and deep pocket? D.
