Pros: After reading some reviews on this glove, I was hesitant to get it because I thought it might really be a fastpitch specific glove. It is not. It can be used for slow pitch or fastpitch as the hand opening and finger stalls are normal size. I realize not a whole lot of slow pitch players use a first base mitt, but being a former baseball first baseman, it just seemed natural. I've used my fair share of gloves and this is one a SUPERB glove for the money. Definitely recommended.

Cons: Might only last a season, but at this price that shouldn't phase you. Great mitt!

Pros: My daughter won't get this glove until xmas but this is a very nice glove, well made with nice padding in the pocket. It has a great feel and is the perfect size for a 15 year old ( or up ) fastpitch player. It has very little break in time after being oiled. I would recommend this glove

The picture shows a glove for a right-handed thrower yet the description is for a left-handed thrower. Which is it? I'm right-handed and having a hard time finding a first baseman's mitt for slow-pitch softball for a righty. BigBill
