Pros: Great cheap catcher's mitt for a lefty. They recommended a 32 inch glove for my 11 year old and he has small hands so this youth glove was perfect.

Pros: Awesome cheap catcher glove. And not just for kids (I'm a 28). The first thing you will notice is how LIGHT the glove is. Truly impressive! It's so funny to play catch with it. The leather is quite good as well. A perfect match if you are looking for a training mitt (or for your kid).

Cons: If you hand is too big (I speak for adults only), you may have some trouble with the plastic Wrist Closure. I broke it and replace it by a elastic. Now, no matter your hand size, you can catch with it :).

Pros: The look of the glove is very good and the feel is really nice.The inside of the glove is very soft and well made.The laces are real leather not the cheap crap the some company's use on their youth gloves.My 8yr old loves this glove.It was a very good buy.

Cons: None really for the age group this glove is made for.

The Easton Natrual Youth Series: NATY2000 Catcher's Mitt has smaller finger stalls and hand openings than the All Star Young Pro Series: CM1200BT Youth Catcher's Mitt and Diamond Baseball Series: C310 Youth Catcher's Mitt. All three will be similar in durability and feel.

For an 11 year old looking to use a glove for a few years, I recommend moving to an adult model with larger fingers stalls and wrist opening, such as the Rawlings Player Preferred Series: RCM325R Catcher's Mitt.

The Easton Natural Youth Series (NATY2000) Catcher's Mitt is a full leather mitt. We recommend using a 32" model for players 14 years old and under. For 15 year olds and over, he should move up to a 32.50" or 33.00" model. This mitt is similar to the Akadema Prodigy Series mitt (AGC98) with the differences being the adjustable velcro wrist strap and web design on the Easton and a slight increase in leather quality in the Akadema.

Based on your daughter's age, we would recommend a 31.50" mitt. The Easton Natural Youth Series: (NATY2000) Catcher's Mitt is 32.00", so that is larger, but it is also based on preference.

If you keep the glove out of the elements, oil it properly, and store it with a shaping ball, you really shouldn't have any issues with the long term structure of the glove.
