My son is 7 and is going to be playing first base. Right now he uses a 10.5 Wilson EZcatch we just bought from you guys. At his age do you think that glove will be fine for 1st base or do you think he needs a 1st base glove? I noticed this was the smallest you had and was worried it would be too big. Jennifer

Either a regular fielders mitt or a fist base glove would work for that age range it is mainly a personal preference, if you do choose to go with a first base mit I would advise going with the smallest size possible.

My son is 8 years old. He uses a 11.5 fielder's glove that has an adjustable strap. Will this glove be too big for his hand? TJ

This is a youth model glove and is designed to fit the smaller hand of a younger player. It should fit his hand just fine. 11.5 inches is the smallest firstbase mitt we carry and it will be a good size for 8-10 year olds.

This will probably be a little too small for a 14 year old. Generally, 14 year olds will use a 12.25, 12.5 or 12.75 inch first base mitt.

I ordered the wrong size on accident and it will be too small for my hand do you guys at justballgloves.com could send me a larger size glove preferably a 13.00 instead of a 11.50 . i ordered a third base glove thats a 11.75 its amazing ! please guys im begging you :,( baseballkid4

You can send the glove back to us with the free return label that was included in your order. my son is a travel BB player. He weighs 70 lb and is 4"8" tall. Plays lots of 1B. I want to buy him a 1B mitt. What size? 11.5? Pete

I would recommend an 11.5 or 12 inch first base mitt. A 12 inch mitt would give him some room to grow into.
