Description

Most younger kids either don't know how, or don't want to take the time to break-in a glove. That's why Easton has introduced the Game Ready Series, made specifically with the youth ball player in mind. Made from soft tumbled oil-tanned leather, players can take these gloves out of the box and on to the field! Kids generally need a glove that is easy to squeeze, which is why Easton introduces Z-Flex to this series. Z-Flex gloves have elastic strips on each side of the heel, which combined with ultra soft leather, creates one of the softest, most flexible gloves on the market! These gloves use Easton's VRS Palm Pad which disperses the impact of the ball to help alleviate sting and make catching the ball more fun. The finger stalls on this glove are lined with Easton's BioDri material which wicks away moisture, keeping the player's hand cool and dry. The Game Ready Series gloves feature Easton's patent pending Ideal Fit System. The Ideal Fit System features a contoured index finger channel which combines the flexibility and comfort of an open back with the control of a closed back glove. Pros: awesome glove great for outfield and pitching and you can olso get away with it on 3 very soft great glove for the price

Cons: floppy really flopy its thin also it now somtimes really hurts my hand when i catch it in the pocket

Pros: Very soft. Almost zero work to break-in.

Cons: Glove lacing is very thin. My son is 11, he broke lacing 3 separate times. Spend a little more money and get a better glove.

I have two grandsons... One is 7 and one is 8. They are both in the upper percentiles for height for their age.... What size glove should I get for both? Thanks. KW

The most common sizes for an 8 year old is a 10.5 to 11 inch glove. If he is a little bigger than average, I would recommend a 11.25 or even a 11.5 inch glove. The most common sizes for a 7 year old is a 10 to 10.75 inch glove. If he is a little bigger than average, I would recommend an 11 or even a 11.25 inch glove.

This is a utility glove, however it is a youth model designed for players with smaller hands.

My daughter is 15, 5'3"and plays high level fastpitch softball (gold team). She has small hands with thin wrist and fingers and most adult gloves she has used fall right off her hand even when tightened to the max. Would this glove work for her? Any recommendations? Softball Mom

The Easton GR12 Youth baseball glove is not recommended for a fastpitch softball player. This glove is a youth baseball glove, and is for baseball only. Any glove on our site that has 'Fastpitch' in the title or description would be right for your daughter. The finger stalls & wrist enclosures are made with smaller hands in mind.
