The Flagship Series from Easton is going to be a really dynamic collection of gloves. The shells of the gloves are going to be made from Easton's Diamond Pro Steer material. This material is going to provide a stiff feel at the outset. Due to that stiff feel at the beginning, there is great potential for the gloves to last many seasons.
And even with high-quality leather, Easton is able to sell the Flagship models at exceptional prices that will probably attract a number of younger players and their parents. The fitting of these models will probably be more directed towards players right on the cusp of high school or older. However, if you have a younger player that is looking to make the leap from a youth-style glove to more of an adult-style model, the Flagship Series should definitely be considered. The fitting of the gloves in this series may be a little large to start, but the player should grow into them well and be able to use them for many seasons into the future.
No pesky batters will be able to catch a glimpse of any pitches you might be gripping with this Easton Flagship glove. The 2-piece and closed web won't permit any peeks through the webbing. As well, the deep pocket of the glove should allow a pitcher to put their throwing hand deep into the glove so that their wrist is concealed when gripping a pitch. Batters shouldn't be tipped off to anything you're throwing when this glove is on your hand.
Lastly, if you like the closed web look, you could also consider using this glove on the infield at third base and shortstop!
