Description

If you've ever played catcher, you've likely heard of All Star mitts. For years, All Star's catcher's mitts and equipment have been highly regarded among those who play the position. This season, for the first time ever, All Star has released their own line of fielders gloves called the System Seven Series. These gloves draw from the success of their mitts and use the same high-quality leather found on their popular CM3000 model. This Japanese Maruhashi Black and Tan leather allows these gloves to break in fast and have long lasting durability. The tan leather breaks in fast and forms a great pocket, while the black leather's stiffer feel provides the support needed for a long lasting glove. Inside, All Star's Pro Guard Padding provides a thin layer of extra padding in the palm that helps kill the sting of mis-caught balls, yet is thin enough to still allow the player to know right where the ball is in the glove. This 12.00 Inch pitcher's model features a conventional open back and a deep pocket. Its weaved web and index finger holster are ideal for pitchers. All Star: Move Forward. Rise Above! All Star System Seven Series FGS7-PT Chris player

Pros: This glove looks better in person than in pictures. It comes in absolutely rock hard meaning that in factory they did little to no breaking in of the glove. this is something I personally liked. The glove lives up to its description, the pocket is DEEP and very easy to hide the ball in. The PGP is an added bonus as well

How long will this glove last and how does it compare to the Wilson A2K pitcher models? will
The Wilson A2K Series: A2K0BB3ASO uses a higher quality of leather than the All Star System Seven Series: FGS7-PT. The All Star System Seven Series: FGS7-PT is easy to break-in and with proper care, should last a few years.

What age would this glove fit? Looking for an all around glove for my 13yr old. nickole
The All Star System Seven Series (FGS7-PT) is a 12.00 inch pattern and would be ideal for a pitcher or OF play. We would recommend for someone who is 13 years old an 11.50 inch or 11.75 inch pattern. Would recommend the All Star System Seven Series (FGS7-IF) or the All Star System Seven Series (FGS7-PI).
