Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 13" Slow Pitch Softball Glove: WTA20RS2013SS

Unmatched in their feel and performance, all A2000 patterns are endlessly field tested and constantly improved by hundreds of professionals and top amateur players that choose only Wilson Ball Gloves. The result is a glove that breaks in perfectly for hardworking players everywhere. There's a reason Wilson Pro Stock gloves are sold to ballplayers more often than all other brands combined.

Glove Benefits

This Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 13" Slow Pitch Softball Glove (WTA20RS2013SS) features a 13.00-inch pattern, a single post web, and dual welting for a more durable pocket. On the back of each glove, Wilson has applied the man-made SuperSkin to help reduce excess weight, repel moisture, and shorten the break in period. Keep in mind that SuperSkin A2000 gloves are also known for being 2X stronger than an all-leather A2000.

It's Glorious Adam Player

Pros: I've had this for about one month. Feels great. Looks great. I play shortstop for a softball team (and used to be a D1 athlete), so I've had my share of ball gloves. This one is very nice indeed. I followed the break-in guidelines from the Wilson glove maker, Aso-san, (google him) and it works well.

Cons: After one month, there are no negatives. But that could change after a year or so...

PERFECT FOR THE PICKUP GAMES Jonathan Duvall Parent

Pros: All leather, A2000 what more to say - colors are personal preference but I'm a lefty so you have to go with what you want in size, quality, etc. I think they look cool. If you have never had an A2000 or A2K glove, you have to pony up to understand the quality of the mitt. You essentially spend your energy closing the glove instead of keeping it open all the time like floppy junk gloves. The glove will catch balls long after you hang up your cleats.

Cons: It can't be programmed to catch the ball for you

Would you consider this a significant upgrade in the quality of craftsmanship over the Akadema Precision 13" slow pitch glove? Looking for the best utility glove under $300.
Mike
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 13" Slow Pitch Softball Glove: WTA20RS2013SS will be one of the highest slow pitch models you can go with and would be a significant upgrade from many of the slow pitch models out there.
Max
I'm an infielder and like my glove(s) to be a little larger than some infielders use. I've always wanted a Wilson A2000. Would this one be a good choice? I typically play 3rd base or SS.
Jan Ehrman
Yes, if you are wanting something a little larger, the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 13" Slow Pitch Softball Glove: WTA20RS2013SS would be a great choice.

Is this an ideal glove for an outfield position?
Jason
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 13" Slow Pitch Softball Glove: WTA20RS2013SS is a utility glove meaning that it can be used all over the field, so it would work well for outfield.

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
