Description
This Shoeless Joe Glove 1200FB gives a player the quality, feel, and style of the gloves worn by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models worn in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series or today`s models in the Professional Model Series. The Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. The Shoeless Joe Glove 1200FB First Base Mitt is hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before it goes through the breaking in process that leaves the Glove with a beaten up and `Game Worn` look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique feature. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. Became floppy after 1.5 years Steve Coach
Pros: Old school feel, quick break in.
Cons: Great feel and break in but after time, with 3-4 times per year being oiled, the glove became floppy and hard to manage for an 11yr old hand strength. Balls that don’t hit the pocket have a tendency of falling out. Just bought son a new glove despite this one still the proper size.
Great mitt! David Parent
Pros: My son is very happy with this glove. Break in took a little longer than the 30 minutes of hard throwing suggested in the glove tag, but that seemed unrealistic. After a week of use though it was ready and good for games. Haven’t seen (yet) any of the issues mentioned by other reviewers of the glove getting too soft and losing shape. Catching has been great, the ball really seems to nestle nicely into the glove even with off target throws to first.
Cons: None so far!
Great Glove Bill O. coach
Pros: My son plays A level 10u travel ball and got this for christmas this year. It is an awesome mitt, comes almost fully broken in and high quality. We had a catch today and it performed really well and wasn't stiff like most new mitts. Will buy another one in the future
Cons:
Goodie
Pros: Nostalgic, retro glove is a gamer out of the box, the smell the feel takes me back to the days of my youth. I bought it for my son a left handed first baseman, He is 9, the glove is a bit big, but soft and pliable, the ball just sticks in the pocket.
Cons: This is a great glove for a kid, or an occasional player, the very benefits of easy break in becomes a liability at the highest levels, as the glove will become floppy and there is very little padding in the palm, I wouldn't want to catch a 75mph ball with it. Of course if your old school and your stings a bit...... guess that's baseball ... takes you back to when it was just a game.
SRC
Pros: Simply a great glove. My 10 year old loves it and its not too big for him. Scoops everything and its light and comfortable for him.
Cons: Wish for some more padding maybe. But not a big deal
Shoeless Fan
Pros: Soft and flexible Broke in quickly More padding than his SJ infielders glove Love em all
Cons: None. These are the best
adam
Pros: My 10 year old son uses this glove. It is worth it.The glove broke in real fast, and he stops and catches baseballs with no problem at first base
Cons: The glove is a little bigger in the hand area than I expected.

Pros: Best glove I have ever used. Smells good, preforms good, looks good. It has helped me to scoop balls out of the dirt easier. Amazing, love it!!!
Cons: Can't and will never find any!
GPR
Pros: comes game ready,95% broke in, good simple styling.
Cons: A little flimsy, had to tighten pocket lacing after one 3 hour practice.
K.P.
Pros: I was asked to move from SS to 1st base last year with my Showcase team because I am tall and a better target. My Dad bought me this glove and it was an instant winner. The workmanship is as good as it gets and the break in period is all but zero. I would recommend this glove to anyone.
Cons: I do not have a Shoeless Joe for the other positions but I am working on Dad and should have that need filled soon. :)
rammjett
Pros: in 40 years, best gloves i've ever put on my hand. spend the money, be done
Cons: pretty much takes an adult hand to fill glove- not for your 11 year old
Eric
Pros: Excellent glove. Needs very little time to break in. Very well made.
Cons:

Pros: the glove is awsome. anything in the pocket is secure and it scoosright to the palm nothing shoots out if you dig it up
Cons: it gets to soft and floopy the outer bill will fold over i may just need to get the strings tightened but where do you get that done
Big E
Pros: Very good glove. Breaks in very easily. Best first base mitt I ever had.
Cons: None.
coach vinnie
Pros: I own three Shoeless Joe gloves... a 12" outfielders mitt, 32" catchers mitt and this 1st base glove. Breaking in time is fast, comfort is very good, playability is excellent. Looks don't mean much to me but... they look good too.
Cons: The only con I have with these gloves are that the break in so fast they become flimsy. Some players like a soft flimsy glove... some like them firm... but these get soft and loose quickly...
Sharkman
Pros: This glove is extremely well made with a retro look, feel, and smell. It took about a week to fully break in. No ball escapes from this glove. Any first baseman would be proud to own it with it's great feel and good looks. It's a winner.
Cons: None. I only wish I had discovered the Shoeless Joe gloves earlier. They are well worth the price.
