Marucci named their Palmetto Series gloves for the signature dwarf palmetto tree that is native to their home state of Louisiana and this glove has the good looks, quality and performance to do their home state proud.
Glove Benefits
The shell for this Palmetto Series glove is built with premium soft-tumbled cowhide for maximum durability with lower weight than other premium leathers. Comfort is central to this glove's design thanks to its narrow-fit hand opening and cushioned leather finger linings. Both features not only increase comfort but also make for a snug fit on the hand and excellent handling on ground balls. The wrist cuff is also lined with moisture-wicking material to help keep hands dry and comfortable even if you're playing in swampy Louisiana heat.
Marucci designed this glove with a two-bar post pocket for improved visibility through the glove on fly balls and quick ball access for turnaround throws.
