Pros: It's a nice glove and I got it because I know Easton mitts are soft and quick to break in and I needed a new glove in a pinch and wasn't going to have time to break in a stiff heavier duty one. received it on a Friday, applied a little glove oil, worked it a bit and was catching with it on Sunday. Works great,Looks great, feels great!

Cons: The only thing I was dissapointed with was that the upper inner lining of the fingers was made of cloth, not soft leather. Kind of gives the glove a cheap feel and makes me wonder how long it will last. For under $100.00 bucks I guess that's what you get these days, but my previous Easton glove that cost less than this one like 8 years ago was ALL leather. No cloth anywhere.

Pros: This glove is very good took about 4-7 bull pens to break in big deep pocket nice and tuff but!!!

Cons: i dont if its just me but the thumb holder (if you use it) is abosulety terrible in my opioion it just seems like it nevers stays in place and it is diffeert compared to all my other mitts idk but i hate!!!

A good thing to keep in mind with gloves and catcher's mitts is that the lower the price is, the softer the glove typically is and it will be easier to break-in. The Easton NEB2 will be one of the softer 34 inch catcher's mitts on the market. There aren't going to be any 34 inch mitts that will be easier to break-in.

How would you compare and rate this glove to the Nike N1 catchers mitt. I need an adult left hand throw catchers mitt to catch 12-14 year old pitchers Peter

Both gloves are going to be pretty similar and are great choices. The Nike N1 Catcher's Mitt is going to have a shallow pocket which will allow for easier ball transfer. Based on our customer reviews this glove is going to be pretty stiff and will require a lengthy break in time. The Easton NEB2 mitt is going to have a large pocket, and is going to be a little less stiff and easier to break in than the Nike. Both gloves are made from steerhide leather, so they will both be pretty durable in the long run as well.
