It features an open back, wool linings and soft heel to help play the tough hops. Adidas strives to engineer each of their gloves to be professional position-specific hand pattern for unmatched feel and quick transfer from mitt to hand. With that in mind, the TX features an 12 1/2 inch outfield pattern with a modified T-Web with a deep v-shaped pocket to maximize the catching area. Adidas doesn't skip on comfort either. Pros: I own 20 pro-level gloves (A2000, A2K, Heart of the Hide, etc) and this Adidas glove is worthy to be on the field with all of them. Leather and construction quality is great. Finish and shape is better than many $250+ gloves I have seen recently. For this closeout price, I can say with confidence, best glove deal out there. Love the color too. Get one!

How does this glove compare to the Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series? I'm a fan of Wilson, do these gloves hold their own against Wilson A1K/A2K etc. Thanks. Carsen S

The Adidas EQT TX Baseball Glove: TX will be comparable to the Wilson A1K series in terms of leather construction/quality but will not feature the same fit in terms of wrist opening and finger stalls (A1K series will have a tighter fit). Compared to the Wilson A2K would be a different story. The A2K from Wilson is one of the top gloves on the market in part because of the leather quality (top 5% of leather that Wilson uses) and the additional padding that is added to help reinforce the glove (this allows the glove to retain its shape longer over time).
