The journey started in 2009 at Southern Utah University when Yardley’s favorite glove snapped. Rather than settling for a replacement he didn’t love, he taught himself the intricate art of glove repair. What began as a necessity quickly turned into a decade-long obsession. After repairing thousands of gloves and founding Reglove in 2013, Yardley gained a "master’s degree" in glove anatomy—learning exactly why certain leathers fail and how a perfect pocket is formed.

In 2020, Yardley Sports was launched with a clear mission: to take the best features from the world’s top gloves and refine them through the eyes of a master craftsman.
