The Wilson A1000 SuperSkin Series has been improved once again; this time with the focus being on softness. The A1000 SuperSkin Series uses Wilson's exclusive ECCO Leather inside and out, leaving you with a consistent break-in and feel. The ECCO Leather is one of the highest grade game-ready leathers available and is found only on Wilson gloves. On the back of these baseball gloves players will find SuperSkin, an innovative material that is 2x stronger and lighter than leather, to create a glove that is not only more durable but lighter too. The A1000 SuperSkin Series gloves offer the new Dri-Lex Technology which is an ultra-breathable wrist lining that transfers moisture away from the skin, keeping your hand cool and dry. A1000 Series gloves also feature the patented Dual-Welting system that offers a pre-curved finger design that helps maintain a stable and durable pocket. The Dual Welting technology is a patented design used exclusively by Wilson in the United States. The A1000 uses a Sorbothane Palm Pad which is a revolutionary material that diffuses shock away from the hand, giving your hand maximum protection. These gloves also offer MLB Pro Patterns which provide consistency and control. All patterns are endlessly field tested and constantly improved by hundreds of professional and top amateur players. My son is 11 years old and primarily plays left field. Will this glove work for him? Size, etc.
Sandy
At 12.5 inches, it may be a little big on him right now. A 12.5 inch glove is the average size glove for a high school age outfielder. A glove around 12 inches is more common for an 11 or 12 year old outfielder.

Out of all the outfielders gloves priced at $99.00 and below, would you recommend this one over the others? I'm 15 y/o 5'9" 145lbs, would this one work for me?
BaseballPlayer
Wilson is top of the line and this is a great glove for under $99.99.

My son is 11 and plays mostly pitcher and infield, what is the ideal size and glove?
All Star
For a pitcher and infielder, an 11.50-11.75" glove is recommended. The Wilson A1000 Series would be a great choice in the 11.50-11.75" models.
Nick K.
Does the Wilson A100 have a hole for your index finger to come out of?
rookie
The Wilson A1000 does not have the hole for your index finger.
Kara
Would you recommend this glove for a 15 year old high school varsity player who plays part time outfield? Or what glove would you recommend? I'm also 5'10 185 if you need it.

The Wilson A1000 Series would be a great glove for a high school outfielder.
Kara
is getting superskin on a glove recommended?
Jordan
If you are looking for a slightly lighter weight glove, then getting a Wilson glove with the SuperSkin material would be a good option.
Tyler
Would you recommend this glove for an adult? 5'11" , 180 lbs? Looking for a good glove for general use and no longer play organized ball but rather play catch with my son's and coach a little league team.
Thanks
Bob
The Wilson A1000 SuperSkin Series: BB1799SS should work well as an all around glove for an adult .
Kevin
How does the A1000 compare to the A600 series?
Bob
The A1000 series gloves, including the Wilson A1000 SuperSkin Series: BB1799SS, are going to be made with higher quality leathers than the A600 series gloves.
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.

PRICE MATCHGUARANTEE
Yes, JustGloves.com will price match a competitor's listed price!
To do so, we verify some information. If you see an item listed at a lower price elsewhere, this is all we require:
We must verify that the website you want to price match is legitimate and an authorized dealer of the products they sell.
We must confirm that the competitor has the same size and product in stock and ready to ship. If the same size and product is out of stock on the competitor's website, we are unable to match their price.
We must confirm if the competitor charges sales tax and/or shipping fees since these are added to the final price of the product.
Lastly, our Glove Experts must check on the cost we pay to stock the item from the manufacturer. The price match must cover that manufacturer cost for the item.
We have the final decision for matching an online price.
Did you purchase a product from us, but noticed that it is now at a lower price? Please let us know, and we will honor our lowest price within the past 30 days by issuing a refund for the price difference or adjusting the price for you over the phone.

DIRECTIONS:

(3) - Work it into the web, palm, laces, inside of the glove, & any other area that has become dry or is starting to crack. (4) - When finished, place your glove in a warm, dry area (70 - 90 F) & allow the leather to absorb the conditioner for 24 hrs. (5) - Re-treat your glove when you notice the leather is starting to dry out. Prior to the off-season, apply a light coat of conditioner to keep the leather from becoming brittle.
