Looking for a good mitt for my 15 year old catcher. She needs some good padding since she is catching at high school level. Would this be a good mitt? 16u Coach
For players her age, we typically would recommend a mitt more in the 33.00"-33.50" range. At 35.50", the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2403FPCMXLSS), this mitt may be slightly too large for her.

The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A2403FPCMXLSS Fastpitch Catcher's Mitt is made for softball use. It will have a larger pocket used for catching softballs. This could look different to someone used to playing with a baseball catcher's mitt.

The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2403FPCMXLSS) Fastpitch Catcher's Mitt is designed to fit a female hand with its smaller hand opening and shorter finger stalls. But if you can comfortably fit your hand in the mitt, it shouldn't matter too much. The 35.50" pattern size is actually larger than most baseball catcher's mitts, but it will fit tight on an average-size male hand.

The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2403FPCMXLSS) will be more fit for a womans hand. We do not carry any mens fastpitch catchers mitts. Many times, men in your situation use a first base mitt to catch softballs with.

About the Brand
