Pros: Stiff out of the box but that's what you should expect from a glove of this caliber. The dual welting really helps to keep the glove in shape while it still forms the way you want it to be. I highly recommend this glove to any serious ball player.

lkh
How thick is the thumb finger at the top ? Also how thick is it on the EL3 ? drzfreshkiido

linda
Is a 11.5 size good for a thirteen year old? Hoping he can grow into it for high school. woody
It depends on the position he plays. An 11.5 inch glove would be a great size for a High School age player who plays the infield. A High School outfielder would be better suited with a glove around 12.5 inches. If he plays multiple positions (infield and outfield) a glove around 12 inches would be recommended.
John
Do all the Wilson gloves fit snug to your hand? Luke
Yes. Wilson makes a very good glove that is made of high quality leather. Their gloves hold their shape and will be durable for many seasons.
KG

Linda

I am 18 years old, headed to play college baseball. How big of a difference is the fit between the Wilson A2000 Series and the Wilson A2000 Showcase Series? Also, will the Wilson SuperSkin hold its shape over time like leather will? recneps25
The Wilson A2000 Series and the Wilson A2000 Showcase Series are going to be different in the way they fit on the hand. The Showcase Series will have smaller finger stalls and a smaller hand opening since it is a youth model. The Wilson SuperSkin will hold its shape like leather.
Nick

Some gloves get flimsy, which will keep its shape longer, the A2000 or the A2K? ctom
Price is the absolute best indicator or a glove's quality. The A2K will be stiffer and will hold it's shape a little longer than the A2000. Both are high quality gloves though.
Tyler
My son is fourteen and is a shortstop/pitcher. He has a med. hand and growing fast. He grew six inches in the last eight months. Projections are around 6' to 6'". Will this glove still be good for him? JOHN
We recommend a 11.75" glove based on his age and size. The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBB2DB would be a great option.
Kara

My son wrote down A200, not 2000.....do they make an A200 series or just the 2000? Bob
The only A0200 glove ever produced by Wilson was the Wilson A0200 Cat Osterman Series: A0200 CAT9 Youth Softball Glove. However, it has been discontinued for several years now and Wilson no longer produces an A0200 line of gloves.
Tyler
How long will it take to break in? cano #1
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BB1786ST is made with very durable leather. It will take about three to four weeks to break-in with daily use.
Frank
How do you tighten the wrist? andrew
By unlacing the wrist of the glove then relacing it using the other two holes on the wrist strap.
Tyler
What is the break in time on this glove? I have recently bought a Gold Glove Elite but can already tell it won't last long. I practice everyday after school ad the glove is already floppy. Will this glove be the same? Bob
The break in time on the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BB1786ST will be significantly longer than on your Gold Glove Elite. The leather is a much thicker grade that will probably require at least two weeks break in time.
Kevin
Is there anyway that you could get this model A2000 with the extra long laces like the DP15? Ben
All the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BB1786ST gloves we have in stock feature standard lacing as pictured on the website.
Tyler
Why don't they make them in a left hand thrower? mitch27
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BB1786ST was not manufactured in a left hand thrower by Wilson. The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBOTIF will be similar in durability and feel. It is available in a left hand thrower.
Kara
What SuperSkin glove would you recommend for a 3B/SS? The 11.25" or the 11.50" model? Marman
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BB1786ST would be a great choice. But in the Superskin Series I would definitely go with the 11.50" size for a high school/college middle infielder.
Brandon
Does this glove have a deeper pocket than the DP15? Baseballking
Both the Wilson A2000 1786ST and the A2000 DP15 will have similar pocket size.
John H
I'm 16 but i have small hands. Would this be a good glove for me? Jake W
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BB1786ST is a great option for an infielder, but it offers a pretty similar fit to other adult models. If you're interested in a very similar glove, with a slightly more snug fit than others you may have used, check out the Dustin Pedroia A2000: A2000BBDP15GM.
Mac
Do you prefer the A2000 Superskin or just the regular A2000. I play short stop and I'm having a tough time coming up with a decision. Would the A2K be better than both of these gloves? baseballkid8
The A2K series will be the most select leather of the three. It is made with the top 5% of all of Wilson's hides. The Superskin will be the lightest of the three. The material is very strong, yet feels light compared to a 100% leather glove. The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BB1786ST will feature the Pro Stock American Steerhide and be preferred by infielder's.
Brandon
Which one would you prefer for second base? This glove or the Nokona Classic Walnut Series? ryan
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BB1786ST) will be preferred more by college and professional players and may feel a little lighter in your hand while fielding.
Aaron
Will this glove last me 4 years of high school ball? I play second and I am a freshman. bryce
The Wilson A2000 Series: (A2000BB1786ST) will incorporate pro stock american steerhide leather, which will be extremely tough and long lasting. This type of leather will probably last around 2-3 years under high performing play.
