Those two lines that run vertically on the finger backings also exist within the finger stalls of the inner hand lining of the glove. This Dual Welting works alongside the Pro Stock leather to make sure the fingers display a quintessential "glove shape" throughout the glove's entire life.
This P12 design has a knotless backing to it. And since there are no knots on the backing of the glove's fingers, it will be much more comfortable for a fastpitch pitcher to slap this glove against their leg during the fastpitch windup and delivery. Also, the closed webbing will conceal the pitcher's grips from any hitters trying to peer into the glove and see what is being thrown. Lastly, you could also use it at 2B, SS or 3B if you wish!
