Pros: Daughter plays second base and needed a new glove but choosing one to replace her old glove was stressful...she liked her old glove and it was well broken in. The thought of braking in a new glove or not liking it was stressful. We found this glove at a tourney and purchased it even though it seemed like a lot of money. Price was well worth it. The glove broke in quickly and has an excellent feel. Fingers fit well (she is small). The glove has held up very well. She likes the glove so much that we purchased a second to break in to be ready when it is time to retire this one though I think that it will be some time before that is required. Great glove. Experience with just ball gloves was amazing. Ordered in late afternoon...glove shipped that day and was at our door ahead of schedule. Would recommend this glove and this site.

Hi,our daughter pitches high school fastpitch. Looking for a new glove and wondering what web style, SuperSkin or not and size? She has a small build but long skinny fingers, not sure if it matters, she throws 57 mph. We are interested in the Wilson A2000 but open for suggestions and know that there are several A2000 types and sizes. Thank you! lori
My daughter is 14 years old and she plays 3rd base. She is using a 12.25'' glove. Should she go up to a 12.5'' glove? What web should she use? Ray
High school varsity fastpitch player, middle infield, 16; has Nokono 12.5" high end glove. It has finally broken in, but seems a bit too big for infield. She is 5'6". What Wilson size would be best, 12.25"? She had an A500 12" which she loved, but too small. Want the best, but has to break-in well. David
About the Brand
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
