Description

The Wilson A1000 SuperSkin Series has been improved once again; this time with the focus being on softness. The A1000 SuperSkin Series uses Wilson's exclusive ECCO Leather inside and out, leaving you with a consistent break-in and feel. The ECCO Leather is one of the highest grade game-ready leathers available and is found only on Wilson gloves. On the back of these softball gloves players will find SuperSkin, an innovative material that is 2x stronger and lighter than leather, to create a glove that is not only more durable but lighter too. The A1000 SuperSkin Series gloves offer the new Dri-Lex Technology which is an ultra-breathable wrist lining that transfers moisture away from the skin, keeping your hand cool and dry. A1000 Series gloves also feature the patented Dual-Welting system that offers a pre-curved finger design that helps maintain a stable and durable pocket. The Dual Welting technology is a patented design used exclusively by Wilson in the United States. The A1000 uses a Sorbothane Palm Pad which is a revolutionary material that diffuses shock away from the hand, giving your hand maximum protection. These gloves also offer MLB Pro Patterns which provide consistency and control. All patterns are endlessly field tested and constantly improved by hundreds of professional and top amateur players. My daughter plays 3rd base on her high school softball team. What model would be a good glove for her? Thanks Eric
For infield softball players a 12.00" glove is a very common size. Many softball gloves will have a closed web with deep pockets. This glove is designed with the SuperSkin making the glove repel moisture and light weight.
Kris
Does this glove come in 13 inch ? Cws
The Wilson A1000 Fastpitch Series is not available in a 13". However, the Wilson Game Ready Softfit Series: A0800FP12 Fastpitch is available in a 13".

My daughter is almost 16 yrs old and has a Wilson 2000 12.5 glove. She loves the glove, but has had difficulty keeping it on her hand with Velcro pulled tight. Wondering is this glove in the 12.0 would work for her? She is a pitcher and plays Left field. MJ
If the 12.50" Wilson A1000 Superskin Fastpitch Series is not fitting her hand snug the 12.00" glove should be perfect for her. We do have our 100 day glove guarantee , so if it is too small you get send it back free of shipping charges.

How does this glove compare to the A660. My daughter is 13 and pitches and plays shortstop but has fairly small hands. Looking for a quality love with a snug fit. She has tried on the A660 and the fit was good. Kevin
The A1000 Series is made with higher quality, more durable leather compared to the A600 Series. Fit will be the same.
Tyler
MY daughter is 8 yrs old, plays 2nd base and pitcher, and I am wondering if this would be a good glove for her. She has small hands and fingers. Her current glove is a 11.00" Louisville Slugger TPX. The Glove seems a little too small for a 11" softball. Aly
The Wilson A1000 SuperSkin Fastpitch Series: FP12SS will be much more suitable for your daughter. The 12.00" glove is going to be a perfect size for an 8 year old fastpitch player.
Noah
