We do not offer any customization of the gloves we sell including the Nike SHA/DO Pro Series (BF1753). The best way to do that would be either to go to the manufacturer directly or to take he glove to a leather shop that does custom work.

What kind of leather is this glove comparable to? Heart of the Hide? Pro Preferred? LJT
The leather used in the Nike SHA/DO Pro Series (BF1753 Black/Gold) will be more comparable to the Heart of the Hide series. The SHA/DO will use steer hide leather and many Heart of the Hide models feature steer hide leather. Both the SHA/DO and Heart of the Hide will be much easier to break-in than the Pro Preffered.

What is the break-in time for the glove, roughly? Is the glove stiff when it is bought? bob
The Nike SHA/DO Pro Series (BF1753 Black/Gold) will be somewhat stiff coming to you but it will have a quick break-in process compared to other high end gloves.

Does the BF1753 have a better grade leather than the Vinci Pro Mesh Series: CT82-M? Which one will be more durable and keep its structure longer? jjwinck
The Nike SHA/DO Pro Series (BF1753 Black/Gold) will utilize a higher grade of leather than the Vinci Pro Mesh Series (CT82-M). Higher grades of leather will be more durable as well as keep their shape longer with proper care and storage.

Which glove do you think is better an A2000 or the Nike Shado Pro BF1753? Teo
The Nike SHA/DO Pro Series: BF1753 Black/Gold is a discontinued glove that Nike is no longer making. It would be tough to compare this glove still do an A2000 model that is currently being made but this Nike model would be a good option to consider for a pitcher.
