Pros: I used this glove as an outfielder in slow pitch softball. The glove is game day ready, literally. It is very soft has a big pocket. This is a great glove but only for a couple of years.

Cons: After using this glove for 2 years, it now feels like a pancake. Since the leather is so soft, it gradually losses its stiffness and shape. It has become so floppy I now have to buy another glove.

Pros: I have enjoyed my glove so far. Initially the glove caused a pain in my thumb. I thought it was just hard but after breaking it in I truly now enjoy the glove.

Cons: takes a minute to get use to the stiffness in the thumb area of the glove. need to be broken in.

I used the air pump Mizuno for years...is this comparable at all to that old glove? I play shortstop in a softball league and need a new glove! Marty
Yes, they will be comparable in terms of weight and break-in time. The Mizuno MVP series will use a higher quality leather and be more durable.

Is the GMVP1401 the same glove as the GMVPS 1401? If not, what is the difference? Thanks, Ron. RONNY
I am unfamiliar with the GMVPS 1401 model number. The Mizuno MVP Series: GMVP1401 glove is the only glove we carry with a similar model number. I would say they are the same glove.

What is the difference between the GMVP1401 and the GMVP1400S1? Thanks. buck
The Mizuno MVP Series: GMVP1401 is the model that preceded the GMVP1400S1. Both gloves will be similar in feel and size, but the GMVP1400S1 features the Bio Throwback Leather.
