My daughter is 12 years old and her Mizuno Prospect 101 32.5" Cathers Mitt has gotten to small for her hand. I was afraid the Mizuno GXS57 would be too big of a glove for her. But it is the perfect size. Love the leather, the pocket is deep, perfect for the 12" ball, and easy to break in. Used it is a tournament the next day after receiving it, and she only dropped one ball. We made a great Choice.

very nice glove but has a flaw
My daughter play varsity and travel and loves the glove, but the stitching holding the web broke in two spots after only two months of practice and 4 games. I was able to re-stitch the glove myself but if you can't do that the warranty only last 100 days and you may want to look at something else

My daughter has a GXS92 (I think) that she uses for varsity high school and travel. She loves the fit of the glove but broke the webbing warming up her school pitcher. I am looking at the GXS57 and GXS31 as replacements. Other than cost what at the pros and cons of each?
The Mizuno Classic Fastpitch Series: GXS31 is made with higher quality leather and will be more durable. However, it will take a little longer to break-in due to the higher quality leather. The Mizuno MVP Fastpitch Series: GXS57 will be game ready and has a softer feel, but it will not be as durable.
My daughter is 15 and catches for a 18u travel team and her high school team. I'm looking for a new mitt for her. She plays at least 100 games a year. Will this be a durable glove for her? If not what do you recommend?
