For the better part of the past decade, the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft series has been a favorite of ball players everywhere. These gloves feature classic designs with the new and innovative web styles that Mizuno has become known for. The Future series was designed for the next generation of superstars, with all the same features as the pro model! The Classic Pro Soft series is made from Mizuno's Throwback Leather that is a rugged, rich and naturally pre-oiled. This leather is soft, yet durable enough that it maintains it's shape over time. Players will be able to make catches without the fear of sting as these gloves feature an UltraSoft Pro palm liner for added protection, excellent feel and a soft finish. Every Classic Pro Soft glove has a new Roll Welting to increase structure and support throughout the fingers. With a lightweight feel and extra structural support, these gloves are quick to the ball and will retain their shape for years to come. Each Mizuno glove is handcrafted to the highest quality control standards. All of Mizuno's glove craftsmen have been through a rigorous certification process overseen by Master Craftsmen Kosaku Kishumoto (fielder's gloves) and Kuni Nakamura (mitts) who together have over 65 years of experience making ball gloves. BRad

Pros: Great quality and price

Cons: My 9 year old son who plays on a travel ball team, his fingers don't even reach the finger stalls. They should lower the finger stalls more. Feels heavier than the top line Rawlings gloves. I'm sending it back.

Dad & a coach

Pros: Nice look and fits my 9 yr old hand well. He says it is very comfortable to wear and looks "cool".

Cons: Have had for three weeks, oil/condition about 5 times, and use at home and during warm ups, but still stiff. He actually doesn't use it because of stiffness. A lot of $$ to spend on a warm up glove.

My son is 11 and has average to small hands. I am looking at this and the 11.25 model. He plays mostly shortstop and pitcher. Also looking at the Rawlings GG Gamer Pro Taper series. Which would you recommend? Blake
I would recommend the mizuno its is bette quality than the rawlings
Jay
My son is 12 years old and plays first base, outfield and pitcher. Is this a good all around glove? jody
Personally, I would say no. Generally first base gloves are longer,as are outfielders. Pitchers use gloves about this size. Give our reps a call, we can help guide you to the best glove for him.
lkh
This would be a great glove for outfield and pitcher. A good first base mitt would be the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series: GXF26 First Base Mitt.
Kara
How does this glove compare to the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series: GCP65S or the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series: GCP67S? Which one do you recommend for an 11 year old middle infielder who plays a little outfield? How does their durability compare to each other? And would any of them be too big for his hands?Thank you. iWarrior12
The GCP67S and GCP65S are adult gloves and will be too big for an eleven year old. I would recommend the GCP60F.
Kara
is it a good glove for a nine year old that plays pitcher and shortstop cman
Yes, this is a very good glove for a nine year old
Sean
I am looking for a new bigger glove for my 9yo son. His old glove is a Mizuno GPG 25 11.5. Will the GCPOF 11.5 be a good choice? Joey
Yes, the GCP60F is going to be a good choice for your son
Sean
what kind of leather is this cman
This is made out of your basic cowhide leather, that is run through a process to soften the leather. This glove also features an added layer of protection padding inside the glove.
Derek
Is this the best mizuno glave for 11.50? tank
If you are looking for a youth Mizuno glove then the Pro Soft Series is going to be the best.
K.B.
My son is 10 years old and plays mostly middle infield and pitcher and a little center field. His current glove is an Easton 11" and it's getting small. I like this glove but was wondering if I should get the 11.5" or 11.25" model since I heard Mizuno gloves run a little small and am afraid the 11.25" model will be the same size as the Easton 11". Marc
I would suggest getting this glove as Mizuno gloves tend to be a little smaller. This is a very durable glove and will multiple seasons.
KG
The picture shows a left hand thrower. Do you have the same glove in a right hand thrower in stock? Tony
As of right now, we do have this glove for a right handed thrower in stock. The sizes listed on the website are those that we have in stock and are ready to ship.
Jennifer
I have seen this model for adults but not for youth. Is the glove made for a youth?. I have an 11 year-old that plays premiere ball and I am looking for a high quality glove that will fit his hand and not be too big. KJ
The GCP60F is made for youth player. Mizuno is a great manufacturer for well made youth gloves, this model is no exception.
Shelbe
I am 12 and need a glove for 2nd base and occasionally outfield. Would this glove or the 11.25 model be better for me? HomeRunOctopus
The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Future Series: GCP60F Youth would certainly be a good glove for you to use for 2nd base and outfield. The 11.25 might be too small for you to use in outfield, so the 11.50 should work just fine!
Jennifer
1. Can you adjust the hand opening on this glove? 2. What do you think are the best three youth gloves on the market. My son just turned 9. He is on a traveling team. He plays a lot in the outfield, but next year I believe he will play outfield, infield and pitch. I am leaning toward an 11.5 inch glove. Thanks, JHB JHB
The Mizuno Pro Soft GCP60Fis a high quality infield model that has a non Velcro adjustment option for the hand slot that requires the user to string laces to a fixed position to fit their comfort needs. Outfielders typically use gloves 12 inches and above, and infielders use less than 12 depending on their positions. Utility players who play both infield and outfield will use the mid range 12 inch gloves so they can adapt to any position.
Shelbe
Do you have this glove in stock for right handed throwers? bakerman
We are currently out of stock in the right hand thrower Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Future Series. We will be getting more in shortly.
Nick K.
How do size compare from youth to a adult are the youth 11.5 smaller than the adult all over are just in the hand and fingers? thanks hammer
An 11.5" Youth glove will measure (from top to bottom) the same as an 11.5" Adult glove. The difference is a Youth glove will have shorter, more narrow finger stalls and a smaller hand opening to better fit a younger players hand.
Tyler
My son likes this glove that he saw in a store, however I would like to stay around or under $100 mark since he is just 11 years old and growing like crazy. Can you tell me one that would meet my needs? He pitches and places 3rd. Jackie
Depending on what positions he plays, an 11.5" to 12" glove is recommended. A few of the top options that meet your criteria are: Akadema Prodigy Series: ARC88 Youth, Worth Prodigy Series: P175 Youth, Rawlings Gold Glove Gamer Pro Taper Series: GG1150G Youth and Wilson A1000 SuperSkin Showcase Series: SCDW5SS Youth.
Tyler
I can't decide between this glove and the 11.25" for my 11 year old with youth medium sized hands. He probably will play first base the most but will also get a fair amount of play on shortstop and some pitching. No outfield. Any suggestion? Coach Mark
Based on his age and positions we recommend the 11.25" Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Future Series: GCP40F Youth.
Kara
Do they make this series in 11.00" for youths? I'm only seeing the 11.25" and 11.5". Michael
The 11.25" will be the smallest the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Future Series comes in for a youth glove.
Noah
Can you use this glove to pitch? josh
The 11.50" Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Future Series: GCP60F Youth would be a great glove for any pitcher.
Noah
My son plays center field on an 11u club team, 4'7" and normal hand size for height. Would the Mizuno 11.50" Classic Pro be a good fit for him as an outfielder glove? DSC N AZ
Based on his age and position, the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Future Series: GCP60F Youth glove is a good option. For further information on sizing, please visit our Glove Coach at http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-coach/
