Is this good for a 5'2 123 pound 14 year old? Or would you recommend something else?
The Easton Rival Series: RVB3000 First Base Mitt would be a great selection for a 14 year old playing First Base. I used the Glove Coach Feature on justballgloves.com and came up with a recommended size of 12.50" for a 14 year old. This model is 12.75". It could still work for his needs as long as he doesn't find it too large.
Would this glove be a good glove for several years into high school. Is it durable enough for 5+ yrs of use? Is there another glove you would recommend not over $175?
The Easton Rival Series is a very good glove. The lifetime of a glove can vary. The amount of use of the glove and the care of the glove are several factors that will determine the lifetime of the glove.
My son is 14 5'10 160 lbs and I am looking at either this glove Rival series or the Natural Elite. Which one is better for someone to use for many years? Thanks.
