These gloves start out as high quality USA steer hide and are Japanese tanned into professional grade Okayama leather. The result is a soft, smooth, and incredibly durable ball glove. The inside of these gloves is made from Pro Fit steer hide which is built soft for comfort, yet strong for the rigors of professional level play. The gloves are held together by professional grade USA-tanned rawhide lace that is tested to a tensile strength of 100 lbs! That means that the chance of the laces on these gloves breaking is slim to none. This is a glove that will last for many seasons to come. This 12.00 Inch model features a two-piece closed web and is ideal for pitchers. Pros: Ultra light glove, very very strong. Breaks in like an old school glove which is fine by me, the whole "three days of break-in" is rediculous.

Cons: Being as light as it is is a tad disconcerning because it leaves the thought of flimsy in the back of your mind. It is not flemsy however.

Pros: Light, high-quality leather that is already pretty broken in out of the box. This glove exceeded my expectations immensely because of its quality and feel. The glove also smells like expensive, italian leather.

For a 12 inch glove, it has a pocket of average depth. Outfielders around 11-13 years old would generally use a 12 inch glove.
