Get this AF (Advanced Fastpitch) Focus Framer and you'll be getting a mitt specifically designed to increase concentration during catching drills!
Glove Benefits
This mitt is specifically going to be built for a practice session. The small 29.5" circumference will require more focus for catcher's working on their craft. This glove should really help catchers with hand-eye coordination and pitch framing. It will be very helpful for pitch framing because it forces the catcher to not rely on the wide circumference of their regular mitt to sell the strike to an umpire. As well, it will help with transfers between the glove and throwing hand. Improving transfer times should help with improving pop time as well.
Parents of younger players will want to note that this mitt is not built for a young fastpitch catcher. In spite of the small circumference, the wrist opening will be more conducive to a catcher who is starting to specialize at catcher (not a beginner).
