Get this AF-Elite (Advanced Fastpitch Elite) and you'll be getting a mitt specifically designed for an advanced fastpitch catcher participating in travel, high school or college play!
Glove Benefits
This glove's 33.5" circumference will be able to set a large target for pitchers. However, you don't have to have a fully matured hand to fit into the glove. There will be a velcro wrist strap that will allow you to cinch up the wrist tightness if needed so that a little smaller hand can fit into the glove.
As well, the single break design on this All Star mitt will provide vast benefits for fastpitch catchers. You'll see the single break design if you look at the catching surface of the glove near the hand slot (or heel of the glove). That design that is marked by 4 laces will provide a system that allows for natural closure of the glove while maintaining a wide heel. As well, it will increase the structure of the glove's thumb and minimize the wear and tear your thumb might suffer when playing catcher.
