Pros: Easy break in,looks and feels good, great price
Cons: none
Dave
Pros: Pretty comfortable. Looks great.
Cons: I had high hopes for this glove and ended up dissapointed. The leather seems extremely cheap and soft. The biggest problem is the positioning of the hand inside the glove. When squeezing the glove closed, the palm closes up and the pocket stays wide open. Add to it that this glove is made in China and there is no way it's worth $100.
BEAST 7
Pros: This is a great mitt and good looking.
Cons: None.
Nate
Pros: Great glove, it is well worth the money. Lots of padding, makes a big POP when you catch the ball. Looks really cool. Fields the ball well.
Cons: If you don't catch the ball right, you will drop it.
Nate
Pros: Looks Nice.
Cons: The glove did not completely close over the ball, and the pocket stayed wide open when closing it. The thumb stall was very loose and laces snapped when they were tightened, apparently they were sewn in. Well, that's what you get for the price.

Pros: Nice looking glove with good laced webtop for fielding. Fast break in. Bought 12.5" for my 12 year old with big hands - fits perfect!
Cons:
great glove Ricardo aguila player
Pros: the glove is game ready after catch and making plays at first. The glove is traditional with the colors
Cons:
buyer beware! Paul coach
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I bought this glove for my 9 year old son this past summer as he really wanted it although I had never heard of Akadema before. With two boys who play travel baseball and with 30+ years of experience breaking in baseball gloves, I was extremely disappointed with this glove.
Great glove.. sorta. Carlin Rasberry player
Pros: Catches balls insanely well. Although if ball is palmed, it will drop.
Cons: My glove had a hole put through the web of it. I only have had it for a year. Cheap put together. Good glove while it lasted though.
Goraman
Pros: I dose not need break in.
Cons: I had to return it the day we got it as it just doesn't hold up to a moderately hard throw. If the ball hits the outer finger area it lays over instead of directing the ball to the center. There is so little padding. It is just to flimsy and has no structure. The stiffest part of the mitt is the laces. They are stiff and don't hold a knot very well. A good 8 to 9 year old throws to hard for this glove unless every ball hits the pocket. At first base your mitt has to preform as outer catches will happen, you don't want a mitt that folds over and lets the ball go on by.
looks good at first but not great quality Peter Parent
Pros: Out of the box looks like it is a quality glove.
Cons: Then reality sets in. The leather is pretty cheap. The laces cheaper still. First laces broke within a month. relaced it. Another section then broke.

About the Brand
In Akadema's short but remarkable history it has become one of America's hottest baseball and softball equipment company for professional, college, high school, and serious youth players. The Akadema phenomenon started with the Professional Glove Series and continues with the Reptilian®, Praying Mantis®, Pro Soft™ and Prodigy™ Glove Series as well as the Amish Wood™, Tacktion™ and Xtension® Aluminum Bat Series. Akadema's ownership attributes increasing market share to their innovative professional baseball and softball product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design to raise the level of play.
Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players but are now accessible to semi pro, college, high school, and serious youth players. Akadema products are still designed with the professional player in mind but competitively priced for the professional player at heart. So it's your turn to think like a professional, play like a professional, and use Akadema Professional!
Akadema now has both baseball and fastpitch softball advisory staffs that they work with closely to implement new ideas. Members of the baseball advisory staff include Hall of Famers Ozzie Smith and Gary Carter as well as Howard Johnson, Reggie Smith, Luis Polonia, Sandy Martinez and many others. Fastpitch stars that are on the advisory staff include Crystl Bustos and Julie Smith. The input on performance from the advisory staff gives Akadema something they cannot put a price on. Their advisors don’t talk about marketing or places to sell the gloves, they just care about performance.
