Description

Akadema is the most exciting baseball and softball company in the world. Akadema's ownership attributes an increasing market share to their innovative quality professional product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design that raise the level of play. Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players, but are available for semi pro, college, high school and serious youth players. Akadema's latest glove series is the Akadema Precision Series. The Precision Series uses Precision Kip Leather that is 20% lighter and tighter grained than steer hide. The hides are harvested in Europe and tanned in Japan. Ultimately, the Precision Series design provides the player with a more pliable glove. This allows for easier break-in. The Precision Kip Leather also provides more tensile strength than competing glove lines. This results in a stronger, more durable glove. Akadema: Bring Your "A" Game! Free Shipping!

High school ball player

Pros: Really great glove, it has held it's shape especially well after a year of use. I have seen no breakdown of the leather, and the glove broke in really well. Excellent for infield use, but have also had success with it in the outfield. It's also a really light glove. Everyone on my team is envious.

Cons: Really no cons. It did take a while to break in, but I used almost no oil or conditioner.

Pros: Great glove! After a full high school season last year, it still has its shape. The leather is great and the kip is really light. The black looks great, even after numerous encounters with dirt. Akadema is a really great company.

Cons: Takes a little longer to break in...this is typical for high quality gloves though.

About the Brand

In Akadema's short but remarkable history it has become one of America's hottest baseball and softball equipment company for professional, college, high school, and serious youth players. The Akadema phenomenon started with the Professional Glove Series and continues with the Reptilian®, Praying Mantis®, Pro Soft™ and Prodigy™ Glove Series as well as the Amish Wood™, Tacktion™ and Xtension® Aluminum Bat Series. So it's your turn to think like a professional, play like a professional, and use Akadema Professional!
