I just received this glove and I love the color scheme along with the leather quality. I was just wondering what the best way to break in this type of glove without ruining the leather. Thank you. Michaelstar1
I am going to provide you with a link to follow as it details in full depth how you might want to break in the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786): http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/

My hand is about 8 inches long and I put 2 fingers in the pinky hole. Would this fit my hand or would it be to big? DingerDan
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) is a standard adult fit. It may be a bit snug while you are breaking it in but should work. If it does not fit well, you can send it back within 100 days of your purchase for free.

I was debating on getting this glove or the DP 15 model and i noticed that it said that the DP 15 model had thinner walls and a smaller wrist opening. so would the tighter finger walls be a big difference since this glove doesnt have the smaller finger walls. and if i get the wrist tighten would ot be just like the DP 15? don bon
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) is similar to the DP 15 models except for the wrist opening and finger stalls are larger. The DP 15 models, designed with Dustin Pedroia in mind, would be a great option for those infielders with smaller hands. The correct glove would be one of personal preference and feel as the gloves will perform the same. Thus, the tighter finger stalls might not make a big difference (personal preference) and tightening the wrist strap might give a similar feel as far as wrist opening but the finger stalls would still be larger in the A2000.
Cameron
Does this glove come in 11.25 or is this the only size? James
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) comes in an 11.50 inch pattern. There are a couple options that will be similar in a 11.25 inch pattern and they are the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BB1788) and the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2000BBSS1788).
Cameron
Where can I send the glove to have the wrist relaced for a tighter fit? James
I would suggest looking on Wilson's website at http://www.wilson.com/en-us/baseball/glovecarecenter/. Here you will find possible places to have the wrist opening tightened on your 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786).
Cameron
Is this glove fine for pitchers? Would the web in this model be a huge disadvantage? Jake
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161786 is better suited for infielders and it is not the most ideal glove for a pitcher. It can certainly work for a pitcher, but typically more of a closed web is preferred.
Jason
Does this glove come Pro Stiff? Nick Swisher
This 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) will come with the Pro Stiff feel to it.
Ben
I play serious travel ball and I'm 12 years old. I play third and I was wondering if this would be a good size for me? Kevin
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) would be an excellent option for you.
Jake
dont know if i should get a 11.5 or 11.75 in glove i play 2nd and 3rd and i am 14 years old and 5'6 Crispy
Based on your age and positions, either glove size would work. Typically, 11.75" is standard for a 3rd basemen, while 11.5" is pretty standard for a 2nd basemen. I would probably recommend the 11.5" pattern, as it is more important to have a smaller glove at 2nd base than it is to have a longer glove at 3rd base.
Nick
Can you get it in adult snug? Or does it just have to be adult? Matthew The man
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161786 does not feature the Pedroia or snug fit. This glove would fit like any other adult glove.
Cameron
I am 12 years old and 5'1". I play 2nd, SS, & 3b. What size should I get? Matt
At 11.50" the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) would be a good option for you. If you have smaller hands I might also looking at an A2000 that features the Pedroia fit (tighter wrist opening and narrower finger stalls). The 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB16DP15SS) would be a good option with the Pedroia fit.
Jake
I play second and third base and outfield. I'm 13 and 5' 7" would this be a good glove for me? lucas stadler
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) would be a good option for you.
Jake
What's the best A2000 for a middle infielder who also plays outfield? All Star #1
This 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) will come with an 11.50" length and will be excellent for use on the infield (specifically at 2B, SS and 3B). If you will only be using this glove sparingly in the outfield then the 11.50" length will be just fine. However, if you will be playing in the outfield a decent amount of time (in addition to the infield), I would recommend looking at a glove like the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB15B212SS) with the 12.00" length.
Ben
I am 10 years old and I play 3rd base. Would this be a good glove for me? Evan
Given that the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161786 is an Adult baseball glove, its fit will likely be too large for a 10 year old player. For a 10 year old 3B, I would suggest going with a 11.00" Youth glove.
Marcus
At what age would you suggest transitioning to an A2000 or an 11.5" adult size glove? Michael
Typically a player around the age of 11-12 will transition into an adult sized glove like the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161786.
Jason
I have a 11.50 inch globe because I played second base. I am starting to convert to 3rd base would this size glove be ok for 3rd? Dinger Dan
Yes the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161786 would work perfectly fine for a third basemen. Third basemen typically use anywhere from an 11.5" to an 11.75" glove.
Carter
How broken in will this glove be when it arrives? IkeB542
The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161786 requires some break-in time. It will be about 60% factory and 40% player break-in.
Jason
My son is 5 years old and his cousin lent him this glove and he could handle it really well. My son is a second baseman and has good catching skills. Can I buy this glove for him in an 11" size? Little Maykel Baseball
This glove is only available in size 11.5". If you would like an 11" Wilson A2000, it would have to be a custom model.
Kyle J.
My hand is sore after using this glove for the first time. Is that just because the glove hasent softened up yet? Jose Altuve
Yes, the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB161786) will come in very stiff. It will take some time to break in the glove so it will fit comfortably.
Carter
What do I need to use to take care of this glove? Should I oil it? snax999
Using glove oil/conditioner is certainly recommended when breaking in the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161786. Playing catch with the glove and using a mallet or ball to help break in the pocket and finger slots is helpful as well. Would recommend reviewing videos that are currently on the site under "Glove Resource Guide" to learn more about how the pros go about breaking in their gloves and mitts.
Cameron
What do I need to use to take care of this glove? Should I oil it? snax999
If you would like to accelerate the breaking in process then you can certainly oil the glove. Although that is certainly not required. Playing catch often is the slowest, yet best way to break a glove in to specifically fit the player.
