Pros: Good glove for the price. Wore out after about 50 games and 100 practices not counting playing catch in the backyard. Overall I would recommend this glove.

Cons: Had a large wrist opening and finger stalls for an 8 year old.

Pros: Never heard of this company and bought based on the reviews for my 9 year old. This glove is beyond great. It broke in easily after a week of use and fits my son's had perfectly. The pocket is deep but my son hasn't had any issues transferring the ball while playing the infield. Leather is great and is a quality glove. Better than most $149 gloves.

Cons: None

Pros: Made my purchase online on 12/10/11 and received it 12/16/11. My son won't open it until Christmas but I examined the glove and it feels/looks great. My other son has an Akadema $189.99 glove but bought this one based on the rating/price. So far so good, I'll update.

Cons: Made in China (not sure if that's a bad thing) but that concerned me

Pros: Glove looks great. Top quality glove for this price. Very soft leather. The palm pad makes it a bit harder for the young player to squeeze it all the way, but we have been working on it. Overall Great purchase. I would buy again

Pros: Quality leather/glove for the price. Great pocket right out of the box. Ball stays in and the palm pad is effective, which is a big plus for kids. Fit was excellent for my tall (XL hands) 8 year old who upsized from a 11".

Cons: None after three weeks of daily use.

Pros: This is the only glove a young player should have. It's broken in already and your child will never complain about it. It is like an extension of their hand! For the money you can find nothing close.

Cons: None

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Glovesmith Field Commander Series: F1125T? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this a youth model glove? All reviewers indicate the glove was purchased for kids. O'B
It's not designed specifically for youth players, but at 11.25 inches it is a smaller size, and is a very soft glove that is easy to squeeze which makes it popular for younger players.
Brett
What is meant by left hand thrower. My grandsond is right handed and I don't want to purchase wrong glove. jack
When they say left thrower, right thrower. That means they throw with that hand, and the glove you want goes on the opposite hand. So if it says left thrower, the glove goes on his right hand.
Linda
16 year old can use this glove right? all-star
Yes. 11.25" is a common size for adult middle infielders.
