Each glove is constructed with game ready Oiled cowhide shells, Deer Tanned cowhide lining palms, Ultra-Dri lining backs, and ¼" lacing in the webs & fingers tops. The Field Commander Series also has plastic reinforced Supra-Flex padding, palm pads, and proprietary pocket grease. This is a premium quality glove at an affordable price. Pros: I could not be happier with this purchase. I got this for my 7 year old, who is in his first year of little league. What I noticed the minute I opened the box was the high-quality leather... it's beautiful, durable stuff. It smells amazing too. This is the real deal, like the mitt you remember having as a kid. Before ordering this glove, I checked the sporting goods stores in town, and nothing impressed me. Even the "high end" mitts seemed to be made of plastic "faux leather."

Cons: This is real cowhide leather... so it will require some time to soften up. But it's worth the effort. I honestly feel bad for the kids whose parents shopped at the local big box store... this mitt is so much nicer.

Pros: Got this for my seven year old for use next year. It's his first "real" glove. I was impressed by the construction for what I spent on it. The quality of leather is very nice, but softer for youth hands. The webbing, stitching and lacing seems top notch. Break in was a piece of cake, a little oil and a homemade ball mallet. This will last him for at least two to three years before we move up.

Cons: None that I can think of.

I would suggest calling us at 866-321-4568, and we'd be happy to help you find one that is right for your. This glove, however, may be one that I would suggest to you. It is not as popular as some of our other products, but it is a solid glove.
