Every aspect of your game has been taken into consideration in the construction of this series, from the breathable finger slots, right down to position functionality in the leather selection, ranging from supple soft leathers used for the outfielder's glove to the sturdy dense leathers found in all the catcher's mitts. Every glove in this series features a full grain liner and laminated palm for a better feel. Radial Piping has been added to the fingers to ensure your glove keeps the form and shape for the position specific break. Pros: I catch Senior league ball every week for a 90mph~ pitcher and it hasn't let me down. Terrific design. The padding sucks the ball straight into the pocket. It's not too much but just right.

Cons: None

baseball junkie

Pros: Very good quality and durable glove once broken in. If you are willing to put the work in this is an excellent choice Evertything you expect from Nokona.

Cons: Break in is a time consuming and tedious process. If looking to play with immediately, "game ready," this glove is not for you.

Pros: 1 week-well built glove, thumb and finger pads very strong, ball deflects right into the pocket and stays there. better than wilson a2000, 600BL is replacing the a2000.

Cons: Price is rather high, but it fits my 13yrold's hand perfect with room to grow.

Pros: The bloodline really is worth every penny. Its great, amazing. I have had the pro preferred and the mizuno pro limited and this beats them both. Great glove. Plus, even though 32" may sound small, it feels the same or even bigger than a few 33" Ive tried

Cons: I have never tried the wilson a2k, so that might be better. But it cant be much better, and its more expensive

Questions and Answers

My son catches with a nokona cm 500 nokona mit now . How much of a difference would a cm600bl be darrell
The CM600BL will be made with a higher quality leather and will take a little extra time to break in compared to the CM500. Once it's broken in, it feel great and fit about the same as the CM500.
Rickie
CM 600BL vs. CM 600w. Is the BL worth the extra $100 for a competitive catcher who's over the hill" rosey
The CM600BL will take a longer break-in period as it is not pre-oiled by Nokona. Both will be durable gloves. The CM600W comes pre-oiled and won't take as long to break-in. If you have the time and don't mind a long break-in process, the the CM600BL would be a good choice. If you don't want to spend a ton of time breaking your glove in, but still want a quality glove made from quality leather, then I would look towards the CM600W.

Is this glove large enough for a high school frosh player Will is last for all 4 years, He plays year round Peter
Yes, this glove is large enough for high school play. The Nokona Bloodline is made with top of the line leather so it will last him for all four years in high school
Sean
This is an excellent glove that is very durable, and should last for quite somtime. It is, however, one of the smaller catcher's mitts made. So, it would depend on the size of the player.
Bodie
When will the latest shipment of CM600BL be in? I was told earlier around April 1st, 2011. TxDave
It's actually been pushed back and at this time we don't have an ETA as to when we will be receving more CM600BLs. More than likely it will be mid to late summer.
Brett
Is this mitt appropriate for fastpitch softball or is it abaseball mitt? Zallos
This is a baseball catchers mitt. It's pocket will be too small to accomodate a softball. All fastpitch softball mitts will have the word "fastpitch" in the product name.
Brett
hello. i wanted to know if this catcher's mitt is for baseball or for women's fastpitch softball ?? Susan Lujan
This is designed as a baseball glove. The only real difference between the two, the finger slots in the fastpitch models are smaller for female hands.
