Pros: Solid construction, good padding, and it comes pretty much broken in. Velcro strap easily adjusts to fit your child's hand.

Cons: At this price, not much bad to say. The pocket is kind of small though.

Is this glove appropriate for a 8 year old boy going from coach pitch to machine pitch? What is the appropriate size for an 8 year old infielder? NMJhawk
An 11 inch glove would be an excellent option for an 8 year old playing the infield. Generally, a 10.75 inch to 11.25 inch is recommended based on your criteria.

About the Brand

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
