Pros: Extraordinary quality of design, materials and craftsmanship from small glove maker. My son started using this glove when he was 11 (mid-2010.) almost 350 youth travel and now HS ball games (and corresponding practices) later, he still won't give it up. Not that he needs a new replacement yet, because his Vinci still has not yet shown any signs of breaking down. In fairness, he plays mostly 1B and uses the Vinci when he's pitching or in the outfield (about 1/3 of the time.) But during the period he's used his Vinci, he completely wore out a Rawlings Pro-Preferred 1B glove which I replaced mid-season this (2013) summer.

Pros: As funny as this may seem I purchased this glove for my 8 year old for All-stars last season. Although he was 7 at the time he is 105lbs and wears 12 year old clothes. Got tired of buying youth model gloves that didn't last a season. Glove quality is great. He plays year around on a travel team with rec ball to fill the gaps. After such good results I purchased the youth model for my 7 year old and a MV3 for myself. All three have been great purchases.

Pros: Really a great glove. I wanted something that was great quality and would last longer than the youth gloves my son has had in the past. He is a very large, very powerful 8 year old playing travel ball. I liked the quality so much that I ened up buying my self a Pro series model.

Pros: I've used many top-of-the-line gloves, Heart-of-the-Hide, A2000, Pro Preferred, etc, and this is the best glove of them all. Excellent feel and form, excellent leather, fast break-in... just simply the best glove I've owned. Small glove maker, limited production, carefully made

Cons: There's nothing negative to say about this glove. You will not be disappointed...

Would this be a good glove for my 10 year old? He plays year round on travel team and league. He needs a new glove. If not any recommendations? Terri

This would be a good glove for him. This might be a little big, but he would be able to grow into the glove. I would recommend this glove to be used for the outfield at his age then at a later age he would be able to use this glove in the outfield.
