Description

Akadema is the most exciting baseball and softball company in the world. Akadema's ownership attributes an increasing market share to their innovative quality professional product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design that raise the level of play. Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players but are available for semi pro, college, high school and serious youth players. Akadema's latest glove series is the Akadema Precision Series. The Precision Series uses Precision Kip Leather that is 20% lighter and tighter grained than steer hide. The hides are harvested in Europe and tanned in Japan. Ultimately, the Precision Series design provides the player with a more pliable glove. This allows for easier break in. The Precision Kip Leather also provides more tensile strength than competing glove lines. This results in a stronger, more durable glove. Pros: good glove, great feel, good transitions from glove to hand. Great if you're a middle infielder

Cons: weird look, has air pockets because of the design without the full cuts in the leather

Pros: Cool glove. I actually have the earlier model, the axx5, but made with the same leather. my son loves it, as do i. this glove feels great on the hand and has a quality feel.

Cons: tad bit odd and it takes a little getting used to looking at it, as the palm is almost one big piece of leather.

Pros: It actually looks smaller than 11.5." However I was impressed with the construction and design. I would definitely recommend this glove to a 2nd baseman

Cons: If you have a hand size bigger than XL, you'll have fun trying to get your hand to fit with a batting glove

In the beginning, until broken in, they are a little stiff. But the glove will break in pretty easy.

About the Brand

In Akadema's short but remarkable history it has become one of America's hottest baseball and softball equipment company for professional, college, high school, and serious youth players.
