Pros: A very substantial, well made glove with excellent padding in palm. Breaks in nicely and becomes very comfortable within 2 weeks of use. I applied a small amount of oil to the pocket only and it worked great. Nice pop. Def. worth the money.

Cons: Runs small. A bit on the heavy side, which I like, but some may not.

Pros: I've had mine for about two months now. Wow! This is so much better quality than the wilsons and rawlings I have had before. This will be my 8 year old grandson's glove when he is big enough for it-and with the qualityof the leather could be his son's also some day.

Cons: I didn't have anyone to play catch with for a while-broke in just fine with mallet and wrapping it.

Pros: Once this glove is broken in, it is the holy grail of all baseball gloves. This glove fits your hand like memory foam, and feels great. When you catch a ball, you will have great feel.

Cons: Mine took very, very long to break in. This was the only part that I didn't like.

Pros: excellent quality. i bought the glove for my son, but once it was broke in, i am contemplating buying one for me. He loves it, and i do also when i use it. you can feel the ball with detail, can get the ball out quick, has a nice pocket. would buy it again.

Cons: man.. .this think takes awhile to break in. I think we NLT'd it 5 times, and used it alot for 2 weeks. its good now.

Pros: Like always, Nokonas like this one are made with great feeling leather. Although a quick break-in can mean poor leather quality, that is not the case with Nokona's CW series. These are just fantastic ball gloves. I'll never buy anything but Nokona ever again.

Cons: If you're one of those weirdos that likes rock-hard gloves (and I know you're out there), I'd stay away from the CWs and go with a different Nokona leather choice.

Pros: Just got my glove today and all I can say is wow! This is the best glove I've ever had on my hand. You can feel the top quality of the leather instantly. This blows all that Chinese stuff away. The glove is brand new and needs a lot of breaking in, yet it already pulls the ball into the pocket like a magnet. Worth every penny. As far as the 12" size, I'm very pleased, good all around size.

Cons: Not enough choices for lefties. The infield wasn't set up for lefties but we still like to have some more choices.

Pros: Just got this glove. Oiled it up a bit played catch used the mallet. It's not even broken-in yet and it's already amazing. It molds to your hand and feels amazing.

Cons: A little stiff, but that's what I wanted! If you are thinking about getting this, it's worth it.

Pros: Great leather quality. After about a week of practice it was broken in. When it isn't being used, the leather naturally stiffens up, resulting in the glove not getting too floppy. Has a great feel to it.

Cons: kind of a "tweener" glove. On the bigger side for an infielder's glove, but too small for an outfielder's glove.

Pros: Sold my old Nokona I bought back in the 90' on e-bay for $150 and bought this new one. Love the way it feels and looks that kills. Nokona is the best...all the others are imported junk.

Based on the size of this glove it could be used both in the infield and outfield as well as on the pitchers mound. A 12 inch is a good all around size.

Based on the overall size and pocket structure, this particular model could certainly work very well for corner or middle infield play. This would be an ideal glove I would personally recommend for such positions.

All Nokona gloves are handmade which is why sometimes they run just a little smaller than advertised. This one in particular will be pretty true to size. It will fit like a 12 inch glove, but it may measure just a little smaller. I'd almost recommend at least a 12.5 inch glove for infield in softball. Any 12 inch glove would be a tad too small in my opinion.

I would not recommend this glove for a third baseman. I would recommend a smaller glove, 11.00-11.50. Most 12.00-12.50 inch gloves are for the outfield.

Any glove that they have between 11.00-11.75 would work great for a pitcher. That is the range that most infield gloves fall under.

For a softball outfielder I would recommend a 13.00-14.00 inch glove. A 12.00 inch glove is going to be too small for the outfield. You are going to be wanting to look for a glove that is built for softball, not baseball.

The Walnut Series from Nokona will be moderately stiff. They won't be as stiff as Nokona's Bloodline Series, but will be stiffer than their Kangroo or Buffalo leather gloves. It will take a good 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to break in.

A 12.00 inch glove will be more geared towards someone that plays in the outfield. Most infielders use an 11.00-11.50 inch glove. Most outfielders use 12.00-12.50 inch gloves.

I play short and second - slow pitch - but would think this 12" would be just fine, similar in size to my current mitt, a Wilson A750. Do you think there'd be any problem using this for softball? Most of the infielders I've played with and against in slow pitch softball use a 12.5" to 13" glove. I've known a few who have used a 12" glove, but they were very experienced infielders and were very comfortable using a smaller than average glove. If you are comfortable with a 12" glove in the infield for slow pitch, then the Nokona Classic Walnut Series: WB1200C would be a great choice.
